Great place to get away, very quiet with great views, extremely close to the mountain.

The location was great with quick access to Jay Peak. We had planned to cook all of our meals at the house, however the stove top had only two working burners and the stove itself did not heat to the correct temperature, definitely needs to be replaced. The upstairs bathroom could use a better shower curtain other than the thin plastic one that blows onto you while showering due to the overhead fan. Otherwise, the house was great. Lots of space to spread out and relax.

This was a fantastic no frills spot for one or two families to stay on a ski holiday! Jay Peak truly couldn't have been closer (a 1 or 2 minute drive) and there was plenty of space for the kids and adults to spread out. We especially appreciated the easy 12pm checkout- that certainly made it easier to get out the door with kids and ski equipment in tow! Only small complaint was that we cooked most meals and the stovetop wasn't working properly (only 1 burner working). But other than that, it was a GREAT experience.

Just great place to relax in. The upstairs game/TV room was a great add bonus!

Great overall

We gathered with family and friends from all over New England to celebrate the life of our cousin lost too soon. This location has been a annual trip for over 40 years for some. The house was one she herself stayed in a couple years ago. We loved the property, location and meaningful weekend.

We stayed in for a wedding in the area. We had 8 guests and the property suited us perfectly. Lots of rooms and comfortable. Good kitchen. Laundry facilities. Strong wifi. Looks like it would be perfect if you were skiing at Jay.

We were 8 (6 adults, 1 X 10 year old and a 13 year old teenager). Very nice property and very clean. Less than 5 minutes by car from Jeak Peak resort.The bedrooms are spacious and there's plenty of storage. Really appreciate the babyfoot and ping-pong tables! The living room on the 2nd floor is also great for teenagers! A great place for the whole family!

Our second time staying here. Everything you want in a place: clean, lots of activities (ping pong, foosball, etc), and it couldn't be any closer to the mountain and golf course. Susan was very hospitable too. Top notch.

We stayed at Susan’s property for an annual golf trip. Great house with lots of room. Great secluded location and close enough to Jay Peak and Newport for hiking and golf. Ping pong table and foosball were a big hit. Susan was a great host and we will stay here again.

The house was exactly how it looks in the pictures. Very clean for a house in the woods and would definitely go back

2nd time renting, great location

Our family stayed here together with a second family for a mini ski holiday. The place was super close to Jay Peak and provided ample space for both our families.

The house was perfect for a week of skiing and fun at Jay Peak. The heated garage was ideal for ski gear and when the snow was heavy, the plow came through and cleared the driveway to the house before we were up. We look forward to returning.

House is perfect for a large group. Susan was great to work with.

Great location and beautiful house. Needs some up keep with paint and general maintenance and the beds were very uncomfortable. We also ran out of toilet paper on the last day but overall it was a nice place.

Stayed here for a long weekend to ski at Jay Peak. House was clean, had everything our two families needed, and only a couple minutes from the mountain!

We spent a week at Jay in January with another family, and this property was a perfect fit. The location is excellent, the kitchen was very well equipped, and everyone loved the games. The weather kept us from skiing, but we still had a great getaway in large part because of this great place to stay.

This is a beautiful property and the location to Jay peak really couldn't be much better. The only reason we gave the overall rating we did is because of the following. We arrived early and turned on the heat because of the pending blizzard but returned to a freezing house 4 hours later. It took 2hrs to reach Susan who contacted the service the company immediately. They arrived approximately two hours later and corrected the issue but it took until the early morning hours before the property warmed up. The reviews mentioned that the stove only had two working burners and one shower was leaking we were shocked to learn these issues had not been corrected. The upstairs TV worked but the picture was not clear and the downstairs TV required a new extension cord since the one available was not functioning properly. We had to manually work the fireplace due to a sensor issue but that wasn't a big deal. Overall this is a great place and the proximity to the mountain is better than good. The property needs a little TLC and I would definitely recommend it if you don't mind or if these issues are corrected and we would rent here again.

Really glad we stumbled upon this hidden gem, so close to the Jay peak resort but secluded enough to feel like you’re at a cabin out in the woods. Plenty of space and the garage with ping pong table was a huge hit. We will definitely be back! Thank you so much!

Lovely property. Nice big log style home seconds from mountain. Superb location. Kitchen stove dated (one burner did not work) and tub/shower combo was not working. Would have been good to know this in advance. Once these issues are corrected yes I would definitely recommend staying here

Overall our stay was great and we'd book it again. We were 2 families with 3 kids and there was plenty of space to play, watch TV, play games etc. Takes 5 minutes to get to Jay Peak from the house. Large dining table was perfect for the 7 of us for meals and games. Kids loved playing foosball and ping pong and watching movies in the spacious game rooms. Communication with the host was easy and fast. The downsides were that we found out when we arrived that one of the showers was leaking and not usable (it was fine for a short trip) and that 2 burners on the stove didn't work. There were also a bunch of cigarette butts on the porch.

Stayed for a quick ski trip with family and kids of varying ages. Everyone loved the house. Nice to have to two living areas, one for kids and one for adults.
