Hotel se nalazi na prekrasnoj lokaciju u samom srcu Opatije te su sve glavne znamenitosti na pješačkoj udaljenosti. Hotel je renoviran i veoma ugodan za boravak obitelji.

Zweitältestes Hotel in Opatija, mitten in der Stadt etwas oberhalb des Strandes - getrennt durch Hauptstrasse - gelegen, schöner, klassischer Altbau, hohe Räume und die Zimmergrösse war riesig, die Räume waren sehr sauber, trotz des Alters des Gebäudes sehr moderne Technik, Räume klimatisiert, mehrere Parkplätze entlang des Hotels; sehr nettes und hilfsbereites Personal, Abendbüffet sehr vielfältig - nicht die feine Küche - aber trotzdem gut und schmackhaft. Frühstücksbüffet war ein absoluter Hit - viele Köstlichkeiten, es fehlte an nichts… grosses Kompliment.
Falls man einen Kritikpunkt anbringen kann… die Parkgebühren (25.00 Euro) für einen Tag sind unseres Erachtens etwas zu hoch.

Rooms are marvellous. Old fashioned with great decor.
The spa and jacuzzi are incredible.
Close to everything, just infront of the water and nearby restaurants.
Have never seen a better breakfast.
Parking is small and expensive.
Room service only changed the towels in the room, could have be cleaned better.
Although an old fashioned hotel it could be a litter cleaner overall.

Központi elhelyezkedésű,szépen felújított, de mégis megtartotta hagyományos értékeit.Kedves személyzet, ha bármit kértünk, vagy elromlott ,azonnal intézkedtek.Reggeli és vacsora fantasztikus, bőséges kínálat.Parkolás fizetős, de külön zárt helyen. Wifi jól működött, a szobában is.A matrac nagyon kényelmes, klíma tökéletesen hűtötte a szobát.Naponta cseréltek törölközőt.

Sehr freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal, schönes Zimmer in historischem Ambiente mit (sehr) kleinem Balkon und Blick aufs Meer, angenehme Wellness-Landschaft und tolles Frühstück. Einfach topp!

The location is perfect. The staff are very friendly and we enjoyed a very ample breakfast before making use of the wellness centre. We appreciated the room with a balcony and complimentary water.

hatten großes Zimmer im 4. Stock mit Balkon, Meerblick und Aussicht auf Zentrum von Opatija;

außergewöhnlich vielfältiges und qualitativ hochstehendes Angebot sowohl für Frühstück als auch für Abendessen (jeweils Buffet in imperialem Speisesaal)

I love the light renovation touch that preserved many elements of the original hotel. Well-designed, tasteful appointment of the rooms, genuinely great breakfast, including the Bloody Mary station, great American breakfast oštion, health food, and any other breakfast option imaginable. The atmosphere of the hotel is overall nicer than the sum of its parts and reflects the grandness of the past with the nostalgic touch.
Sometimes, awkward room shapes and entrance doors were inserted in the old structure, and due to the light renovation touch, they are not fully representative or logical. I stayed at this property at least a couple of times as I like it very much, yet the otherwise nice bathrooms would always have some worn out or not properly fixed elements.

Really good breakfast. Dinner was mediocre, but we didnt pay much to upgrade to half board so it was "ok".

There were no parking spots in their garage. So we had to park in public garage, 10 minutes away (by walking) and had to pay 23€. If they don't have enough space they could at least offer some discount.

Very friendly and supportive staff at the reception. I got a lot of recommendations. I even got an upgrade without asking. The room is spacious and the location is just perfect for Opatija. Spa is also very nice and staff is very friendly. Try the four rain showers. So relaxing after the sauna. The breakfast is really very good.
Not enough waiters for so many guests. Maybe that’s why the waiters are not very attentive.

The Heritage Hotel Imperial - Liburnia is a charming classical hotel in the old style. Facilities are top notch, though just a little tired in places reflecting the hotel's age. (Nothing that detracted from our stay - rather it added to the charm). Staff were all exceptional making us feel like we were VIPs.
The included buffet breakfast was delightful, the only downside being it could encourage overeating.
There wasnt anything we did not like. Price while seeming a little high was about on par with other accomodation we stayed at in Croatia, particularly when allowing for the included breakfast.

I always chose this property when I go to Opatija. Its convenient with half board and private beach and they always upgrade my room free of charge
I felt that food this time was not that great. I used to love the food but this time it was way salty and the selection of desserts were kind of limited.

Besides the hotel is pretty much old, but renovated, the room was beyond my expectations with all the neccesities.
The staff was very, very polite and welcoming.
I give 5 stars to Café Imperial too.
Hot tubs were clean and the water was great.
Some of the food was not good as I expected.
The bill for drink when you go to dinner was also a no go.
The hotel should consider building a indoor and outdoor pool, that would be perfect for the big number of guests.
Windows in all rooms should be bigger, the owner should consider putting balconies on all rooms or bigger windows.

spacious rooms, nicely decorated, very friendly staff, good breakfast, small spa but clean
room wasn’t vacuumed well, we found hairs everywhere, we had dinner at the hotel, food wasn’t seasoned at all. Don’t waste money on rooms with balcony, they are too small.
