My Room is located in basement with no window. It’s really bad experience staying in 5 star hotel during my 6D/5N travel : (

We enjoyed everything in the hotel. All of the receptionists, concierge, executive lounge staff, and the housekeepers were very polite and helpful. In addition, the executive lounge was open 24 hours with complementary drinks at the lounge. Location was wonderful.

The mattress of the bed was hard and uncomfortable.

Being at the of Oxford St. and next to the Hyde Park guaranteed me an entertainment program even if I have no plans.

It is a 5 star hotel for sure, we liked the location and the rooms

We returned to the hotel with our friends (2 x couples, all residents in the hotel) after a show. It was 10:30pm and the barman (standing behind the open bar) said “sorry the bar closes at 10:30pm.”. He was clearly still working in the bar and when we said it was 10:30pm, the barman said he has “ already called last drinks.”. We wanted one drink at the bar to say goodbye to our friends who were departing early the next morning. As residents we felt we treated badly. The bar man rudely said the bar was closed and told us we could go to our room, phone room service and order a bottle of something to our room. Inviting people to our room for drinks is not an acceptable option at 10:30pm. The barman could have handled it better. Also, were the only people at breakfast the next morning. The breakfast (soft poached eggs and toast) took 35 mins to arrive. When they eventually did arrive, they were rock-hard. They had obviously been cooked and left under the pass and forgotten about. On check-in, the systems kept going down at reception so it took me 30 mins to check in. While my friends sat on the lobby and waited for me. I had to move desk twice. The way it was handled, it looked like there was a problem with my credit card. Embarrassing!!
