Beautiful resort with beautiful staff. What a relaxing retreat- a paradise. I loved the food, views, pool villa was luxurious and amazing. The beach was clean and the sea warm. I will be back. They looked after us and made us feel special after I proposed to my partner.

Only small thing was the wait for cooked breakfast. Other than that nothing to mention. I would still give 10/10

The staffs are really friendly and always greet us with a smile. A really nice place to unwind and relax.

It was our fifth time at Pimalai. Top as always. Impeccable service, staff always very friendly and attentive. We will definitely come back. Thank you very much to the excellent management.

I cannot come up with one negative!

The Pimalai is one of the best hotels we ever stayed. The facility is amazing. The service is exceptional. Food is very good too. We extended our stay two times and stayed almost three weeks. Special thanks to our Babysitter Mrs. Sao. She took lovely care of our 5 months old daughter and allowed me and my wife to relax competely. We will come again!

It is very hard to find something negativ. The only thing that comes to mind could be the coffee. The hotel should invest in a propper espresso machine for a quality beakfast experience.

no reef at swimming distance. we had read online that Koh Lanta is the best place for snorkelling and that’s the reason we came.

The hotel is just beautiful - great infinity pools especially the one on the hill, lovely beach which was not crowded at all and we loved the design of the rooms. The food was excellent and I think our meals at Spice N Rice were the best we've had in Thailand, but the resort is also a short walk from good local restaurants. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and the Muay Thai class was great fun. The spa was also perfect and in an incredibly relaxing setting. We were very sad to leave and can't wait to come back!

The bath was a bit small for a grown man and the wifi didn't really work on the beach, other than in the beach bar. I also feel like there should be better signposting to the hillside estate from the beachside estate as it took a while to find the hillside pool on foot - although reception did offer to send a golf cart and provided a map so this isn't much of a complaint.

It was a great pleasure to stay here, indeed the whole staff at Pimalai should be proud to present such a faultless experience. From the creative international/Thai fusion dishes at the flagship Seven Seas restaurant, to fresh flowers in our villa and even complimentary baby oil provided for our son, this hotel provides a luxury that has the details covered. Each time we ordered room service we were told accurately how many minutes our order would take to arrive. At the beach and pool we were offered complimentary iced water. What is more, the private beach backed by jungly forest and the fantastic views (probably from all rooms?) over the bay with Koh Haa limestone formations in the distance provide an unforgettable setting. I must also mention the airport transfer to Krabi by private speedboat and minivan, which was so well organised and staffed I felt like a celebrity. Highly recommended!

The food was just unreal, back in London and craving every dish we had there! Our room was stunning, very spacious. Best run hotel we have ever stayed at. Stunning resort with two beautiful infinity pools at different levels allowing you to move from the heat of the beach on lower levels to get more far reaching views and some breeze higher up. The property covers a vast site and feels very relaxed. The rooms/villas are well hidden in the vegetation. View of the bay/beach. Our room offered very spacious accommodation and was beautifully appointed with a lovely plunge pool. Food and Beverage Manager (Mike) General Manager (Brice) very visible and engage with guests throughout the day. Staff all delightful, smiley and make you feel part of a family. Spice and Rice - excellent Thai dishes. Beach bar and happy hours with a view of the sunset. Beach restaurant. The Pimalai app is excellent for all your needs. Sunset boat trip to Ko Ha. Excellent breakfast choices. Property offers easy access to a beautiful beach and there are a few local bars/restaurants at the end that offer excellent thai food. Very efficient transfer to the hotel from the airport via car and boat. Fireworks for New Year!

Would have loved for the plunge pool within our room area to be heated which would have meant we could have used it from morn til night.

Amazing location and nature on quiet island, design, garden, beautiful spa, food in all restaurants and most of all top of the top lovely, kind, efficient and engaged stuff which made our stay unforgettable; special events organization was super easy, special requirements organized immediately; we had apartments with sea view - always clean, spacious, well equipped;

dispensers of shampoos, body wash, soap - they are not working properly

these dislikes are not because of the staff/ they are managerial dislikes : there is always a constant noise in the hotel that makes it impossibile to rest in your room ( and its HOT- you do crave the room) . gardening, pavement business, vacuum cleaning at 7am etc etc after 3 nights/days of no sleep they changed our room but this one had construction going around as well. so if you are a light sleeper or need your rest you might want to point this out during booking. spa massages were a bit disappointing and expensive considering we were in Thailand. (2500 baht 7% service + 10% tax) The prices in general were very high compared to other islands and also koh lanta entities itself. Especially WATER -the essential- being 290 baht + 7% service + 10% tax ….. that makes you feel ripped off. 300 mts away is a bar that sells it for 30baht.

Everything! That's why this is my 4th time staying at Pimalai. I'd say the service quality is one of the best in Thailand. The beach is beautiful, the infinity pool is gorgeous, you can observe sunset in a jacuzzi. The transfer to / from the hotel is very smooth, i have my 78 yr old dad with me who has difficulty walking, the hotel is very considerate and take us to a van & get to public ferry instead of Pimalai boat, but it went very well and very smooth. I am so looking forwards to my 5th time at Pimalai.

Nothing.. but if compared with the period before Covid, the facility and service is less but don't trouble or make our stay unpleasant at all. Just only that the breakfast buffet is less, thai restaurant is still closed and reception service at pool villa zone is opt out. But totally understand about the situation.
