Sicuramente la posizione, in mezzo alla natura. Un weekend rilassante. La colazione davvero super. La camera carina, spaziosa e pulita.

La piscina è un po' lasciata andare secondo me... Magari più sdrai e qualche ombrellone non avrebbero guastato anzi .. ma nel complesso ok.

Appartamento bello e spazioso, arredato con gusto

Un piccolo appunto: Sarebbe stato perfetto se la camera da letto situata sul soppalco fosse stata separata dal resto, perchè anche i sanitari sono al piano e pur essendo tutto molto bello, mancava di intimità.

This place is a gem! The staff at the reception was friendly and polite. Samuel showed us around and ensured all our questions were answered. Our room was very classy - in the traditional Tuscan style. The bed was huge and comfortable. It felt like we were in the heart of the nature, yet the city was a walking distance away. Borgo Grondaie has a beautiful landscape and the swimming pool was definitely a bonus. Breakfast in the morning was delicious and the options were plenty. We parked our car in the carpark and had no issues whatsoever. We'll be definitely coming back!

I loved this place! Great pool, beautiful and spacious garden, extremely friendly staff that helped us out with planning trips and activities. Very nice hotel room with great aircondition. Close to Coop supermarket, which was very positive. We where allowed to bring our own drinks and snacks to the pool area. The breakfast was overall great!

For my comfort, the bed and pillows was too hard. But, this was not a problem for my boyfriend. I also wished there was more varity in the hot foods at breakfast, like bacon, beans, boiler eggs or fried eggs. But, otherwise, it was great! The location is overall good, but the taxi was expensive so we ended up walking a lot to Siena city center. Takes 20-25min one way. There is however an escalator up the hills by the trainstation, but we didnt find it before the last day unfortunately.

It is a beautiful accommodation on the hill above Siena, with a great view, spacious apartments with well-equipped kitchen and lovely pool. The breakfast directly at the terrace in front of the apartment was an amazing experience, definitely worth the money.

It is really a big hassle to order a breakfast. Even if you manage to read in the QR code, ordering each and every thing from a rather generous menu is time consuming and not something someone would like to do during his/her vacation time. It does not help that needs to be done the day before. I am sorry, but using environmental friendly approach to justify this approach is somehow vague. Having something like breakfast types, or clusters of food (e.g. cereals, salty, sweat...) would accelerate the whole process.

There is a lot to like about staying at Borgo Grondaie - the tranquil setting, spotlessly clean room, friendly staff and time by the pool was time well spent.

The one thing that caught us unaware was the lack of ristorantes within a reasonable walking distance (we didn't have a car).

noise from: the adjoining room, people arriving & drinking & smoking at all hours right outside our room, diesel engines running from the train line. Not enough shade by the pool (no umbrellas or enough natural shade). No private outdoor space. No privacy when opening one of the two windows in the apartment as it was on ground level to entrances to other properties & the laundry

We recently booked an apartment at Progo Grondaie in Tuscany Siena for our family vacation and it exceeded all our expectations. everything was great, just a note , the hotel is more than 30 min walk from the city , we had a car so it was perfect for us . if you don’t have a car it might not be very close.

Beautiful grounds. Easy walk to the train station and the center of Siena. Accommodating staff. No difficulty with requests. Amazing breakfast.

A beautiful hotel where everything felt just right. Loved the bedroom and the bathroom facilities, simple but good selection of teas in the room and a snack. Outstanding breakfast, it had everything you could ask for. Loved the selection of cakes. Extremely helpful staff, from dinner recommendations to explanations about the decors of the breakfast room.

Nice and big rooms, with nice bath and kitchen, works well for families with kids and if you have a car, very close to Siena historical center.

The heather works every couple of hours, so you can´t keep a stable room temperature, but it´s linked with the Ucrânia war energy crisis. The location is remote and lonely at night , but Siena is very safe.
