The staff was very polite and friendly. The rooms were cosy and clean.

The breakfast was fairly poor. Eggs were cold. Not a single vegetable available at breakfast. Spa facilities not available for kids (11 and 12 years old) which was not mentioned on the website. Swimming pool was very nice but ice cold so only good during summer. Steam room not available for free as stated on the website.

Villa Morgana is absolutely beautifu!!l It is so tranquil and peaceful.. A true gem,! Every staff member is exceptionally ,kind , polite and respectful, also helpful in any way that they can. My room was very large. I had a beautiful view of the lake with a balcony , with table and chairs. , Every morning I could open my window and hear lovely birds singing. . Breakfast at the hotel was exceptional offering a wide variety of delicious cakes to choose from, egg, cheese, meats, fresh fruit etc, not to forget your choice of personally made coffee drink. Dinner was equally good and varied each night. The pool was in a quiet ,peaceful area ,so lovely with a view of the lake. I look forward to returning to Villa Morgana each day from whatever activity I had been doing.. It was the perfect Oasis.

The only thing I didn't like is that the spa facilities were not available every day. I I would have loved a massage. That was not available every day, only two or three days a week, Unfortunately on the day that the masseuse was coming I had other commitments.

The place is super clean and quiet staf Very friendly and food was good too.

Parking is very limited. Breakfast is very poor serving espresso in plastic cups. No choice of salamis. Waiter incompetent. Front office personnel very careless. Lift dates back to the 80’s.

Located just few minutes from the ferry to the mainland, on the banks of the lake (bird reserve). Hotel is surrounded by pine trees and lovely garden. Spa & swimming pools are located next door. Parking is on the side-street and there was plenty of spaces and it was kind of guarded / supervised. It's quite elegant property, with a spacious reception, nice views and very "instagrammable" swimming pool areas. All COVID-19 safety measurements were in place and followed at the time. Our Room #21 was nice in design, quite modern and bright, but I spent good part of my stay being annoyed of the lack of Wi-Fi. Bed was quite comfortable and I liked the design of the room. Bed cover looked luxurious, but because of the material, you could see some scratches and "damaged" parts. We also had a nice balcony facing the garden and the lake. Bathroom was lovely. Spacious, bright and spotless clean. Good luxurious toiletries were also very nice. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, set menu dinner was offered in the restaurant downstairs. It was EUR 20 per person, which was a very decent price. We took this option and enjoyed the meal (even if I don't eat frutti di mare, haha). First, we were served by very young waiter and he was fantastic. Attentive, careful and fast. Kind of in the middle, the 'more experienced' waiter changed him and everything went to much slower pace... This was bit strange and I think other guests were confused with this too. Food was good quality and also nice house wine was served (very decent prices too). In the morning, breakfast was also served in the same room, as a mini-buffet. It was bit chaotic as the same 'more experienced' waiter was serving. Anyway... Check-out wasn't also very straight-forward and the booking pre-payment wasn't acknowledged first. Only when I pointed it out, this was corrected. Would I stay there again? No.

Wi Fi - small thing, but extremely annoying. It simply DID NOT WORK in the room. Sorry, it did. 20 cm from the entry door - which was totally useless. I usually share a lot of high-quality photos with friends and this was one of 16 hotels during this trip, which I could not do this. WiFi did work at reception, but not in the room. Even if the router was next to the room, it did not cover the space of the room. I know that not only this is important, but if I had to connect to work laptop (like day before and after), I would simply for the room change or even change the hotel. This is 2020, not 1998 and this wasn't the cheapest hotel in the area. I was quite annoyed I have to say.
