Cute little cottage with a wonderful patio. Nice residential feel, but only a block from a wonderful coffee shop and several restaurants. Great communication with our host! Thanks for a great stay.

Katie's cottage is decorated with great charm and style and is extremely comfortable and well equipped. We enjoyed our retreat from the city and yet it's so convenient to catch the train to get into town.

The property was as listed but added touches made it a bit more special such as milk and fruit being available. We had a great stay and would stay again next time we are in Melbourne.

Gardenvale Cottage is a lovely property, with 2 bedrooms, a spacious living room, well equipped kitchen and a large well maintained back yard with patio furniture and BBQ. It s close to the Sandringham Metro, and a about a 20-25 minute walk to a lovely sandy beach. It is close to grocery stores, pubs and cafes. Katie, the owner, is right next to the property and is very responsive to questions and very helpful and welcoming. We had a lovely time there and would highly recommend it to people who like to do housekeeping in a nice neighbourhood.

Comfortable, clean and full of character cottage -2 bedrooms and large kitchen , living areas and backyard - a perfect base for seeing family in Melbourne. Close to public transport and excellent cafe.
Katie met us at check in and was very helpful.

A great place to stay very stylish & nicely decorated. Every kitchen appliance in house with separate utility room & toilet.
A lovely garden with bbq which we used a couple of times when our daughters came to visit.
The property is close to Gardenvale Station & also a short walk to Elstenwick
a lovely area with shops & cafes.

From the warm welcome until it was time to go we had a happy stay in Gardenvale. The property is just as advertised and made an excellent family home for our stay. The only issues we had were when the trains stopped running in the evening for maintenance work - everything else was top notch.

A wonderful 4 day stay at a home away from home style cottage. Everything we needed for our stay and we struck great weather also. Special toy gift for our 4 year old grandson was much appreciated.

This house is ideal for a family stay with all facilities for self catering and cafes and takeaway food nearby. The beds are comfy and warm and the 3 couches are great for relaxing. Children's toys and books are also provided. It is a nice touch to be greeted on arrival and the host communicates promptly. Highly recommended.

A good place to relax
After more than 21,000 km on the road and over 4 months travelling a lap of Australia this place was perfect for home from home stay. We enjoyed a relaxing week here, where could spread out and get adjusted to a normal life again. It was fully equipped, so we did not need to go anywhere apart from an occasional trip to one of the many local restaurants or take a short walk to jump on a train to the city.
Loved the Art Deco feel, Tim Tams and fresh fruit bowl.

Katie was very responsive and the property was super clean and comfortable. Everything was provided with some thoughtful extra touches- milk, fruit and tim-tams. Great price for a cute, spacious cottage!!!

Family Function
Despite the purpose of our stay being for a family funeral, the homely comfort of this cottage made our stay so much more comfortable. I can't say enough, from start to finish everything was easy and functioned well. A very convenient location as well, for driving or public transport. Highly recommend this accommodation.

Great house in a terrific location
Our family had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay at Gardenvale cottage for 3 weeks. The house is extremely well equipped and had everything we needed. The two living spaces was ideal with children and the toys were a nice touch. Katie is an excellent communicator and was responsive and accommodating from the start - thank you Katie! The location is ideal with lots of cafes, shops, park and train station only a short walk from the house. Despite being close to a highway, it was very quiet for the duration of our stay. Highly recommend!

Katie made us feel very welcome in her cosy cottage. It's well equipped, comfortable and close to cafes, beaches and public transport. We had previously stayed at the cottage in summer and found it just as lovely in the cooler weather. The heating works well and there is plenty of natural sunlight. The kitchen is perfect for cooking up a feast, whatever the weather. Highly recommended.

A cute little haven close to everything
We really enjoyed our stay at Gardenvale Cottage. Katie was a super organised and very welcoming host, who went to the trouble of doing things like providing fresh milk and a bowl of fresh fruit on arrival. The house was immaculate, yet comfortable and cosy with plenty of character. It was easily big enough for our family and had everything we needed, including the best-equipped kitchen I have ever had in a holiday rental. Highly recommended.
