Everything was great. Quiet, peaceful, relaxing. Just what we wanted. Hosts were very helpful and friendly. Pool after a day out was spectacular!

Perhaps our favorite VRBO rental to date. The cottage has plenty of space for two and every possible convenience is provided...even a picnic basket to take on your wine country adventure. Linda and Michael are lovely hosts. We will definately come again!

Property was fantastic- location was great for our anniversary wine tasting getaway. The guest house was extremely clean and well appointed. Pool was refreshing and outdoor area was peaceful and relaxing. Great trip and we can’t wait to visit again!

We have stayed in vacation rentals all over the world and this was, by far, the best. We stayed here a week and never missed the comforts of home because Linda and Michael have included them as standard accommodations in this lovely property. Cleanliness and comfortable bedding is always at the top of my list and they delivered! Nespresso coffee maker is pretty high on my list — done! Bathrobes, plush towels and tv remotes that actually work — done! The grounds of this property are well groomed and you feel as though you are in a beautiful arboretum. We never once dreaded going back to the cottage after a day of wine tasting, because it felt like home. The owners are genuinely gracious and have gone the extra mile to make this a welcoming oasis. Well done! Thank you for a relaxing vacation and thank you for stocking the fridge with our first breakfast!

We really enjoyed this property. Well styled. Everything felt clean and new. And the setting, at the foot of Mt. Hood, was beautiful. It was lovely to meet Linda who greeted us as we arrived and showed us around the property. We would definitely like to stay at this property again.

Our first, but not last, trip to Sonoma Valley was perfect. This private cottage has everything for a comfortable stay. It is close to beautiful wineries, great restaurants and hiking trails. Linda and Michael are amazing hosts and had several great ideas on area attractions. I almost hate to say too many good things about our stay. I want it to be available for our return trip!

I wish I could give this property a 10 star rating because it was absolutely amazing! I have been to plenty of rentals but this one will stand out in my mind as one of the best I’ve been too. The cottage was cozy and just what we needed for the week. It was spotless and the host Linda was fabulous. The property was beautiful and mountains can be seen from the kitchen. I would definitely stay again.

5 star review. The cottage was super clean, you felt that as soon as you entered the door. We enjoy quiet and the cottage was that. It was too cold to swim but the pool and the grounds around the pool reminded us of a resort, with the well manicured grass and walkways. Linda was very welcoming and accommodating, over-all a wonderful stay, I would highly recommend this property. MKD

We really enjoyed our stay. The property was very clean and the owners thought of every detail down to the canvas wagon they provided upon arrival to help us move our luggage from our car to the rental. We’re looking forward to our next stay.

The cottage and surrounding property is beautiful. The cottage is very comfortable and well stocked for a perfect get away. The location offers hiking, biking, and wine tasting, with close proximity to all the Wine Country Valleys. A very good value for the price.

This property is set in the beautiful Sonoma Valley, surrounded by vineyards, with peaceful ambience and home-like comfort. Linda and Michael were perfect hosts, welcoming us and showing us around the cottages and property, with recommendations for vineyards and local activities, even leaving us our first breakfast fixings. The beds were very comfortable, the pool warm and welcoming and the kitchen well appointed. They invite us to help ourselves to pick from the fresh raspberry bushes, and herbs for our cooking. We could not have asked for anything better. Excellent location.

First and last impression was amazing. The owner welcomed us as we drove into the driveway. The place was in wonderful condition. Better than described. Everything that you need is there. We even prepared and cooked one meal there. It was our first time in Wine Country and this place seemed to be located close to every winery. We also like to hike and Sugarloaf Ridge Park was a couple of miles away, perfect for us. You can see some amazing Redwoods and get an elevated hike in too. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. They do have a total of two separate cottages that would be perfect if you are traveling with another couple.

We stayed with another couple in the two back cottages. The space was great. Our flight was delayed and we got in late and Linda was very accommodating. I would love to stay again.

Very nice and quiet, privacy was very important to me and this place was great, we were there for 8 days. Owners residence is on the other side of the pool, never saw them the whole time, there is one other cottage on site, but the outdoor areas for the two cottages are completely separated and on opposite sides of the property. House itself is very nice, it heats up very quickly, all appliances work, only thing it lacks is a dishwasher. There is an onsite washer and dryer with provided detergent. Owner provided new towels when requested. Cottage has staple food items and utensils. The owner let us pick some fruit from the fruit trees which was nice. Also has a grill, but didn't use due to the weather. Cottage has TV, wifi, various games and books. Was very comfortable. Owner was very responsive to my text messages. Will definitely stay again, I'm sure I left some stuff out, cannot say enough good things.

Clean, quiet, well-appointed.

Sonoma Rosso was a wonderful home-away-from-home during our recent wine tasting getaway. Perfectly situated for two couples, each cottage was comfortable, clean, well appointed and tastefully decorated. While situated on one of the main Sonoma roadways, the cottages are nestled well off the road behind the main house and next to a delightful, babbling brook. Sonoma Rosso is also convenient to several wonderful local restaurants and a short and scenic drive to the wineries of both Sonoma and Napa. The property owner, Linda, was a gracious hostess, who was always available to answer any questions. We look forward to returning to Sonoma Rosso on all of our future wine country vacations.

When we vacation we typically stay at a VRBO property. This was by far the most well maintained property that we have ever stayed at. Linda and Michael have thought of everything. There are breakfast items in the refrigerator for your 1st breakfast, a cooler, cold packs, a picnic basket, menus, coupons, shampoo/conditioner and even robes! The location is centrally located and you can get to any part of Sonoma/Napa or the coast in less than an hours. There are great wineries for tasting and restaurants near by. If you like to drink red Zin, we highly recommend St. Anne's Crossing for a tasting.

My husband and I had the most wonderful stay at Sonoma Rosso. It was such a warm,inviting, and comfortable place that we hated to leave. The house had everything we could have needed. Everything was labeled and easy to find. The kitchen was stocked with dishes and everything we would need for cooking including a BBQ grill. There were two choices for making coffee! There was a picnic basket, blanket, and chairs. Everything about the house was comfortable, super clean, and very welcoming. We didn't use the pool but are sure it was equally great. The garden and grounds are lovely. Linda recommended the food and wine pairing at St. Frances winery (a short distance away). That was fabulous. We loved everything about it! Make a reservation early! This location is great for seeing Sonoma and also going further north to Healdsburg and that area. Napa is also easily reached. There were also great restaurants to choose from within 5-15 min. I really can't say enough good things about this place. Linda answered my messaging very quickly and made the whole process work perfectly. We could see that she and Michael put a lot of heart into making this a wonderful place to stay. We will be back next year and will, of course, base our dates on when Sonoma Rosso is available!

We stayed 2 nights the first part of October and loved it! Linda was very helpful with suggestions ahead of time as we planned our stay in the area and was responsive/available during the stay for anything. We were greeted when we arrived and the extra treat of wine for our anniversary was so special! The added touch of English muffins and juice waiting in the fridge was helpful too when we had to leave early in the morning for the airport. Such thoughtful efforts to make our stay perfect! The cottage has everything you need for a comfortable stay - - they've really thought of everything! There are restaurant menus to look through and winery brochures to help plan your stay. The cottage is very clean, which makes the stay so comfortable. (We like that they request shoes be removed!) The decor is super cute and it's very quiet. The pool area is pretty, even though the weather was too cool for us while we were there to use it. There are a couple good restaurants very close by and lots more within a reasonable driving distance. We visited a couple wineries in Sonoma and a few in Napa. It was just such a nice stay - - I only wish we could have stayed longer! I am very picky when I book accommodations and I would very highly recommend this place! If we ever go back to this area, we will for sure stay here again!

We stayed here for a week, and had a magical time. No detail has been overlooked by Linda to make your stay comfortable and luxurious. Her attention to detail is perfection. We appreciated the beautifully organized and complete kitchen, the outdoor grill, the salt water pool, the comfy living room, the relaxing bedroom, and the spotlessly clean bathroom that included gorgeous fluffy white towels and his and her bathrobes. The garden area was serene, and filled with birdsong, beautiful roses, and an overflowing vegetable garden, from which we picked tomatoes for our meals. Wineries abound in the immediate vicinity, and some great restaurants. I would return here in a heartbeat.

Unit is top class, beautiful amenities, lovely hosts. Includes use of a lovely organic garden! Only issue was that the electronic pool cover did not open for 3 of the 5 days we were there, this was disappointing as the weather was hot and dry; we spent our days visiting wineries or shopping at nearby Sonoma. Hosts had many good suggestions and recommendations, would definitely return!

We had a fantastic 3 nights at Sonoma Rosso. Linda was an amazing hostess, the attention to detail was on point, not a single thing forgotten. The private pool that we had to ourselves was an added luxury.Everything was perfect!! It was like being in your own home . This will be our place to stay when we return to Sonoma. Thank you Linda!
