Location a stones throw from very shallow clear sea, amazing views from panoranic room. Very clean throughhout the hotel and rooms and very friendly, helpful staff. Breakfast is very good, plenty of choice. Only 20 mins from airport and a couple mins walk to shops and loads of reataurants. The waiter round the pool adds great character. The fridge and kettlr in room is very handy. 2nd time I have stayed at Al Mare and will be returning again.

The location, right on the beach, was excellent! The breakfast was very good and well stocked. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.

The bath tub was very tall and difficult to get in/out of. Probably a hazard for people who are older.

PROS: Excellent location, hotel right on the beach, with the possibility to stay by the pool, but enjoying the sea as well. Good breakfast, with enough options for everyone to enjoy. Good Wi-Fi available everywhere, including by the pool. Very close to the center (5 mins walk), with nice restaurants and shops in the area. Overall a good value for money, would recommend it and would return here in the future.

CONS: The lunch included in the HB package included only a limited number of options (and not the best ones). I recommend taking only BB and having a-la-carte lunch on the spot, if you wish to have lunch there. Mattresses were too soft for my liking, but this is just a personal preference, they might be ok for someone else. The beach is very narrow in the area of the hotel (max. 2 m. wide), allowing only for 1 row of sunbeds by the beach itself. Not necessarily a bad thing, but just to be aware. Plenty of sunbeds available by the pool, anyway...

The breakfast buffet was fantastic . Such a variety good cooked & cold options . The staff were all amazing from Dina & Anastasia on reception to Chris & Alex on the bar & restaurant. They go above and beyond for you .

The location was superb, close to quiet beach. The staff were really great, they made our holiday, so welcoming and friendly, nothing was any bother to them. Pool was great, plenty sunbeds, umbrellas. Good breakfast, kept us going all day.

our room was near to the elevator , it was very noisy and I could hear the neighbors and people talking …not very pleasant to sleep…

The hotel is right on the beach, and in a nice location. Restaurants and other activities were easily reachable by foot. breakfast was ok, but the coffee was not.

Rooms were cleaned daily to a high standard, clean towels and bedding.. even pool towels provided every day! Dimitris was always there to take our drink and food orders by the pool / beach and was super friendly, as were all the staff. The location was perfect, by the beach and very short walk to all the bars and restaurants but just out of the way so it wasnt too noisy. Pool was large, nice temperature and perfectly clean with plenty of sun loungers for guests and visitors. Really happy with out stay!

The air con unit on the balcony was a little annoying blowing hot air on you so we didn't sit on the balcony much. Beds were quite hard although i am used to a softer mattress. There wasnt any entertainment on at the hotel on an evening but since we were so close to the bars it wasn't an issue. For the price this hotel really was fabulous

View was incredible! Our room was a very nice size for our family of 4. The food in the restaurant was very good. The beach is just a few steps from the hotel. The hotel staff were all very nice! Location is convenient to shopping, restaurants, and everything we needed.

Excellent stay at Al Mare. The hotel and location were great but what really stood out were the staff who went out of their way to make us feel welcome and answer all our questions on where to go and what to see. A special mention to Dina and Anna on reception and Wilma in the restaurant. Will definitely return again!

Good sized rooms, excellent housekeeping service. Always had pool towels available. Really helpful reception staff. Good quality bed linen but mattresses were quite skinny and therefore not particularly Comfortable.

The staff were very friendly and helpful and hotel was extremely clean. The room was spacious and we loved the pool area and that it was beach front. The hotel provided free sun loungers on the beach which was also a nice touch. Excellent value for money and in a great location.

Nothing it was fantastic.

The location is amazing. The welcome from reception super-nice. The room was large, lovely shampoos etc, beach/pool towel, clean and ours had an amazing view of bay. The was an elevator also (hotel is not massive - just 2 floors) - which was handy with luggage. No noise at night - just the lapping of waves. The breakfast was lovely. Eggs of choice, fresh fruits and great coffee. The waitress took our order - maybe when busy it’s a buffet. We had lunch there also which was great (huge prawns, salad, chicken, desert, beers and wine). You eat right by the water. It’s great quality and value. The pool area is nice and clean - within a few metres of sea - so you can enjoy both easily. Sea is shallow and calm. They ordered taxi for our departure. It felt safe and close to shops/bars - without hearing any noise. Seems like a family run place with larger hotel quality/facilities. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

We had a sea view balcony room. It was lovely. So can’t say what other rooms are like. Check other reviews. Maybe you fine other opinions. But British, Swedish etc staying here all seemed really happy with accommodation and services. Recommend you explore bay 5-mins up the coast as that’s great for sunsets. Quieter that Le Mere bay. I attach a pic.

The staff were absolutely amazing - so helpful and friendly. The location is right on the beach so you have access to the sea, as well as the pool on premise. The breakfast was delicious and the rooms were very clean and comfortable. I had to work for part of the trip and the wifi was very fast and met all my video-conferencing needs. The location is great, as there are restaurants nearby that you can walk to and Zante town is only a short drive away. We were also able to easily drive to other parts of the island so it needed up being the perfect place to stay. Overall, it was a wonderful trip and I’ll be back very soon!

Everything excellent

We Loved our stay at Al mare hotel, the overall experience was top including location, comfort, staff and cleanliness. The hotel takes great care of COVID restrictions and all people working there are really helpful and attentive

The breakfast could be improved by putting products like cheese or cold cuts into the fridge as at this hot weather everything did not look good at 9:30 when most of the people ate their breakfast
