This was our second stay at the Indochine Palace after visiting Hue 4 years ago. The hotel is amazing and has a sense of grandeur and opulence about it. We were upgraded to a suite and the room was very spacious and had everything we needed, including a very comfortable bed. The pool is great and not very busy most of the day. The staff, as always are amazing and willing to help with anything.

This is being picky, but there were a group of kids (10+) in pool every morning around 6am yelling and screaming. Not sure if they were guests or an arrangement with a local school, but not pleasant to wake up to all the time. Hotel also looking slightly tired. Could do with a bit of a freshen up on the outside and pool area needs some greenery with planter boxes perhaps. Again, this is very minor and didn't detract from the hotel stay.

Best service in HUE. Delicious international food. Nice live music at night.

A little dated and when around the pool you had to find staff from the spa to ask to order drinks or food which was odd- no customer service awareness at this part of the hotel.

Every aspect was exceptional. There was nothing we could fault. From the breakfast, to the drinks area at the evening with the band, to the service from staff. So polite and helpful everyone!

Indochine palace is one of the most stylishly appointed hotels I’ve ever stayed at. Beautiful facilities including a glamorous pool and deco dining room for breakfast meant I felt I had stepped into 1930s Viet Nam. Add to that a super comfortable bed, delicious spread and a ceiling fan (!so underrated and so useful in the tropics), I would stay there again in a heartbeat. Well worth the little splurge. Do it, you won’t regret it.

The ambience of the hotel was lovely. All of the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, very clean and beautiful. We liked the influence of French interior and aesthetic. The breakfast had lots of varied options and the jazz music at night in the lounge was a great addition.

The property really does match its name - it surely is a palace! it is stunning! The rooms are very spacious and beautiful- the staff are so attentive to your needs . Alice was amazing! After meeting us at breakfast the first day - on the second day without even asking she brought us the ice coffee exactly how we like it! The pool is beautiful and big! All areas of the hotel are sparkling clean . They have entertainment - the hotel really is a 5 star hotel. such good value for money. Don”t miss out on this hotel if you are coming to Hue!

I can not fault this property! it is amazing

The staff were so friendly, the breakfast was great, the pool was extremely clean and all the facilities were top notch. There was a live band playing in the bar each night. The rooms were well thought out and comfortable!

this is a beautiful old hotel in immaculate condition. lots of space. great amenities. rooms were beautiful. small balcony off each room. pool was really lovely and one of the biggest I have seen in Vietnam.

Location was a bit of a walk into the evening dining district, there was great variety at breakfast but quality was a bit lower than expected

All the staff I met during my stay were very hospitable and made me felt very welcome. They helped to ensure everything was smooth, from the moment I checked in to when I was leaving the hotel. The room was comfortable and the bed and pillows were so comfortable. I enjoyed my stay and would like to bring my family here in future. I also liked that there is a shower besides having a bathtub. There was a rainshower and a normal shower head. The warm water was consistent and water flow was absolutely great. Breakfast variety was great too with both western and Vietnamese spread. I also went to the restaurant for lunch and the food there was great. In room dining was fast and tasty as well.

Nothing in particular that I didn't like. Maybe just that the door is shared between the toilet and bathroom. So there was a handle in the inside of the bathroom to hang the towels but will get a little wet when showering. Not a big deal actually but probably great to have some more hooks in the bathroom.

Beautiful 5 star hotel, attentive and helpful staff - wonderful restaurant and breakfast. Reception really helped us to optimise our stay in Hué by organising a driver to take us to the various monuments and sights that are out of the town. We didn't get the chance to use the pool or spa facilities but they looked great. A true 5 star experience.

Everything in the hotel was great, however we didn't really enjoy the city of Hué itself. Apart from the Imperial City and the Tombs we did not really enjoy visiting the city and the market in Dong Ba market was very intimidating and we were warned about pick pockets there.

Club lounge closed, paving around pool needs jet blasting as very stained and doesn't look the best. Bubbles window tinting on big glass windows needs removing as spoils view to outside. Otherwise very 👍

An astonishingly fine hotel with excellent, gracious staff, beautiful rooms and wonderful facilities. The breakfast buffet and meals we had there were very good. Amazing value for money!

Beautiful hotel. All furnishings really high quality. Loved the artwork around the hotel and in the rooms. Very grand looking. Room was huge, so much space and beautifully fitted out. Fantastic shower.

There did not appear to be many people around. It is a very big hotel and maybe we just missed people at breakfast. And maybe visitors are only just starting to return to Vietnam. This is not the hotels fault. It is a really lovely hotel and deserves to do well. Staff were excellent in all areas.

This is a very classy hotel with an old world feel. It was very quiet when we were there. Very much one for the “grey pound”

Breakfast is good, Bun Bo is delicious Clean water that I can drink directly from the faucet. Good practice for sustainability. Friendly Staff, they smiled to me all the time, and check my feeling of stay upon check-out, this shows hospitality.

Wifi is a little bit slow and unable sometimes, but this is fixable and the hotel can fix soon.

Breakfast fit for a king. Spacious, grand hotel with generously sized rooms. Staff out of this world .. so helpful and friendly, let by example from Le Grand Boss Philippe Lecluse, who we had the total pleasure to talk to. A true gentleman. We loved the live classical evening music, with a post dinner cocktail.. it was marvellous.
