I was amazed when I stepped into the hotel it was very grand and spacious.

There was nothing not to like about the property ☺️

L’emplacement proche d’un métro et la possibilité d’entrer dans le métro directement depuis l’hôtel. La chambre était plutôt grande et les produits de beauté étaient de très bonne qualité. Belle salle de bain avec baignoire et douche.

The location of the hotel was near perfect, accessible from a short 3 minute walk to the train station and walkable strait to Ginza. Upon entering the property, we were greeted kindly by the hotel staff and checked in with ease. After, we were shown to our room, which was beautifully cleaned and exactly as described in the reservation. The lobby was gorgeous and the restaurants available in the hotel are high quality. Plenty of amenities available at the hotel, making our stay that much more convenient and comfortable.

There is no included breakfast and if you wish for a meal you must order it via room service. Most luxury amenities require an additional transaction, however, that is to be expected with this type of establishment and it does not detract from the overall experience of the stay.

Beautiful elegant decor. Pleasant and professional staff. Cosy rooms and comfortable beds.

The only detracting feature was that the gym and sauna were not in the same building.

チェックインの1週間ほど前にスーツケースを預けて、当日のチェックイン時すでにお部屋にスーツケースがあり助かった。 清掃時間の指定もできる限り対応していただけた。 バスルームの窓からは電車、部屋からは工事現場が見れて小さな息子は喜んでいた。 お部屋や廊下がヨーロッパ風で素敵だった。

トイレの蓋が壊れていてボタンで開けたり閉めたり出来なかった。テレビの前のガラスのテーブルがアンティーク風？なのかボロボロなのか見分けが付かなかった。

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean with had plenty of room and was well equipped.

Close to different train lines. Walking distance to great food and Ginza

The room was spacious with a good view of the city.

To check in or out for an hour earlier or later, the hotel reception asked for a whole day charge which was quite unfair.

Good hotel in central location in Tokyo able to easily walk to Ginza. Shimbashi station is very close with easy access to many sights in Tokyo. One of the only hotels in Tokyo that had interconnecting rooms to suit a family of five. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, and easy to check in.

Hotel is a little aged, but well looked after and comfortable

The location is convenient and very close the the Metro Station. Easy to travel to Ginza and other destinations. The hotel is also very close to wide variety of restaurants.

I've stayed at the Dai-ichi Hotel many times over the years. It seems that the quality kept declining. The hotel is very dated and the facilities are not well maintained at all. The lobby toilet is the worst toilet I have seen in all of Tokyo! The reception staff are very inflexible. It seems like the policy of the hotel rather than an individual staff problem. Check-in time is 15:00pm we arrived at the hotel at 14:50pm and the staff refused to checked us in. The lobby was full there were no place to sit. Other guest were waiting to check-in and were also refused. This is just poor hospitality management. Comparing to another hotel we stayed at the beginning of our trip they let us check-in at 09:30am without extra charge!

Lobby lounge tea and coffee quite expensive

-Location is very accessible as there is a subway only a 3 min walk away. -Our room was clean and quiet. I expected some external noise given staying in a major city but I actually found it quieter than I thought. -The lobby is pretty and had nice Christmas decor and lighting. -Free daily water bottles

-The pillows were not that comfortable but that is preference. -The rooms were a tad dated, carpeted floors. This would not deter me from staying again, however.

Close to ginza subway line and shimbashi station, we took the Limousine bus and when we were departing, we let the hotel staff know and the hotel staff made sure to let us know when it was coming.

Breakfast buffet was cramped. Fitness is in a different building. Extra bed was solid but short and hard.

Centrally located and situated in a quiet area. Did not hear trains passing by at all - perhaps because we stated in the 14th floor, then later the 18th floor? Room larger than most in the area, and very comfortable beds! Very generous bathroom amenities - everything we needed was provided for. Staff goes above and beyond. Our room was refreshed daily. Will definitely stay here again!

Lobby smelled a bit of cigarette smoke. Bathroom could also use an update but it's relatively a non-issue.

Excellent location, lovely quiet rooms and superb (English speaking) staff. The hotel is very easy to find and very well located (not just for the high-end Ginza district but for all parts of town).
