Booking a two-week stay earned me an upgrade to a spacious oceanfront room where I could drift off to sleep to the soothing sound of waves. My primary motivation for choosing Bohol-Lohoy was diving, and it did not disappoint. Guided by Ornel, whose eagle-like vision underwater led to breathtaking photo opportunities. The boat crew, with their lively demeanor, added to the enjoyment of the experience. Without a doubt, I’ll be returning.”

The place was amazing, super peaceful, in front of the sea and with access to the ocean to swim. There is a big grass with hammocks and a space to sit outside. The staff helped us with everything, they recommended us a lot of things to do around. We booked the bike there as well. Totally 100% recommended.

Lahoy is a really excellent place to be, I highly recommend it to all travelers visiting Bohol. I visited mostly to experience scuba dive and instructor Wena, taught me a lot. The coral garden is so amazing and has countless ocean creators, I am really glad I choose Lahoy. Many thanks to Leeya and Wena again. 5 out of 5.

The location on Bohol and the amenities that were advertised but did not exist. I am not here asking for a refund for false advertisement just want to share so no one else gets ripped off.. We left a week before our stay was over.

FALSE ADVERTISING, as you can see from the photos. I am 64 years old and traveled islands around the world. Owning and sailing a live aboard catamaran and also flying. This Bohol-Lahoy Dive Resort is no longer what they claim. I was told when I got there that a Swiss company went belly up and the place got run down. Sure the owner Lea has plans to remodel but as my pictures show the property is a total mess. AND to finish it off there is no dive shop nor equipment for rent let alone a certified instructor anywhere to be found. Their recent reviews are in fact verified but an account was created by another user I was speaking to before I left. I will create a full review of this on scubaboard dot com when in the near future. as far as booking.com is concerned they are still ok and will look closer into verifying their advertisers in the future. A great place run by smiling and friendly staff right on the water, away from the tourist crowd. Incredible good value if you do not fancy luxury but quietness, peacefulness and stunning view from morning to sunset. Accomodations with an individual terrace are set in a nice garden. No beach but a staircase access to the sea allows you to swim and snorkel on the coral reef just 50 meters away. There is an onsite restaurant and you can also enjoy great local food in one of the few eateries in the village 1km away. If you don't have a scooter, you can rent one onsite. It can be a strategic place to visit waterfalls around, Anda, terrace paddy fields... Thanks for the papaya :-) I hope I'll be back... DuDu
