My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The communication with the owners was excellent. Our goal was to get away for some relaxation and to see a moose and that was what we got. The home and surroundings were beautiful and serene. We saw 5 moose on our trip. We absolutely loved everything!! Perfect vacation!!

Great home. Owner was in contact during the entire trip. Everything was clean, neat and just like the pictures. Great features in the home. Wonderful view. Would definitely recommend to anyone who doesn’t mind being in a 70 degree or colder home. Con: We are from a warmer state and we were not able to keep warm in the house without walking around fully clothed or with blankets on.

Perfect is the one word to sum it all up.. This home is so beautiful, peaceful, comfortable and Amazing. The view is right out of a picture book. The amenities are so many, convience to Greenville and all this little town has to offer is a plus. And the owners..from day one where so amazing. Communication was super easy. You can see the pride they have in their home. Can't wait to go back again next fall !!

The house was really nice, spacious, and inviting. The views of the lake and the mountains from the deck area were beautiful! The owner was easy to communicate with. Great time using the game room in the basement and building a fire at night. Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a cozy get away!

My family and I had such a wonderful vacation at Moosehead Lake this year. We enjoyed the lake, beautiful views, moose tour, hiking, and all the amazing activities this area has to offer! The log home was very clean, spacious, and had everything we needed to be able to relax and enjoy every moment together. Bruce and Lisa were the best hosts we have ever dealt with. They went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed for our trip and family. We hope to be back again!

I don't know if I can actually find the words to describe this vacation, but I'll try. It was absolutely amazing from start to finish. The cabin is magical and was even more then expected. The area is so peaceful and beautiful... We couldn't have asked for more! Bruce and Lisa were so helpful and friendly, making sure everything was ok and letting us know that they were there for anything we may have needed. We were so fortunate to find this wonderful cabin and beautiful place and I truly believe we have found our new vacation spot for years to come!

The log home is beautiful, clean, and well maintained. The views of the lake from the deck, as well as inside the cabin (especially the sunsets) are breathtaking. The area around the home is a fantastic way to just get away and enjoy the outdoors! Our family enjoyed the week we stayed...enjoying hiking at Lily Bay State Park and Gulf Hages Trail (amazing views of waterfalls), whitewater rafting at Northeast Whitewater (so much fun!) and enjoying the Katahdin cruise of Moosehead Lake. We also got to experience another level of nature, as the families of deer come up to the property to be feed. It is amazing how they were mostly unafraid and interacted with us. Both Bruce and Lisa were great hosts! They were there every step of the way with any questions or concerns. Would definitely recommend this stay if you are looking for a vacation to experience nature and outdoor adventures, while also having the comforts of home in a beautiful cozy cabin!

This is a stunning property. It was perfect for our 10 year anniversary trip. We were greeted by beautiful flowers-it is lupine time-- and a card and candy from the previous renters who had heard it was our anniversary. Wonderful kayaking from the private beach and in nearby prong pond and great view from the deck to enjoy the lake and wildlife. If you are looking for a well appointed quiet stay--this is it!

Overall, we had a very relaxing time. The house is beautiful and the views are spectacular. We recommend this house and would consider renting again in the future.

Beautiful property well-maintained highly recommend

Ideal location and beautiful home. We had a wonderful relaxing long weekend relaxing and snowmobiling.

When we arrived the entire house smelled like a fire put out with water or something like that. We found the source to be the wood stove in the basement. Seems it wasn’t properly vented. It had no damper on the outlet to block down draft. We brought it to the property owners attention. We dealt with the smell for the entire week:(. Day three the CO detection went off (wood stove was not operating) and the Fire Department was dispatched because of a direct alarm. The Fire Depart arrive and detected CO within the home. Then a technician arrive and agreed the wood stove was the cause. Then a chimney cleaner came and cleaned the chimney. And if we opened the doors to air out the house smell we’d get a text from the owner to close the door, unbelievable!!! The cooking stove didn’t work on bake only broil worked and the owner knew it didn’t and never said anything. Here we are with four adults in a COVID era for a week :( The kitchen is hardly big enough to prepare a meal for four. Has a 3/4 bath and a 1/2 bath. Hot water was less than hot!! The master bedroom is the loft open to the lower level. The other bedrooms have beds for little children. Pictures are deceiving. The owner accused my wife and I of smoking indoors. We don’t and wouldn’t ever smoke indoors if even given the opportunity. The owner is now attempting to withhold our security deposit. We are disputing withholding our security deposit with VRBO. The smell is clearly the issue caused by the wood stove.

We had a great time at Bruce and Lisa's home at Moosehead Lake with my parents, my husband and our two young girls. We celebrated our daughter's 5th birthday, saw more deer than we can count, cooked, played, relaxed and enjoyed each other's company. We'd love to check out the different seasons at Moosehead and look forward to returning. Thank you!

Our family had the best time staying in this beautiful cabin. It was incredibly clean & comfortable. Quiet, peaceful location, but also quick drive to town. Had great communication with the owners, who helped us with anything we needed before & during our stay on anything from the cabin to trail advice. Could drive our UTV right from the cabin to trails where we saw moose! We cannot say enough about our stay - we hope to be back someday soon and would definitely love to rent this cabin again. Thanks to Bruck and Lisa for making our trip so special and memorable!

Gorgeous Property and Great Hosts. Very peaceful. The cabin is a true wonder. Recommended for families.
