What a lovely spot. Great cottage, with beautiful surroundings. Alfred and Jenny were very friendly and accommodating. We'll be back I'm sure!

Relaxing, surprising, close to town, noted it had wheelchair access to front door, spacious bathrooms, relaxing lounge / library, decks off all sides, and added bonus of outdoor heated bath, lovely heritage boho decor.

We loved this place. So quirky and different from your typical stay. We had a great time relaxing outside to the stunning views and took an evening bath with our wine. I love the French styling. The bedroom was my favourite part. Will recommend. Host Jenny is lovely too. Overall great experience.

Amazing place. Well kept. Lovely little cottage

Such a cute property! We booked for convenience as visiting family in the area but the property is so much more. A romantic little love nest! And well catered - family of boys very happy with breakfast! Mum loved cleanliness and great bathrooms!

I enjoyed the Honey Suckle cottage to myself the night before my wedding, then my bridesmaids and I got ready for my wedding here and then after the wedding my hubby and I stayed here for the night. It is the most beautiful and relaxing place I have ever stayed!! Very tranquil gorgeous outdoor bath and yummy self cook breakfast!! We were left to enjoy our peace and quiet and we will definitely be back - Jenny was a pleasure to deal with, Thank you

Bridal Party Booking (7): We stayed in the Honeysuckle and Rosebud cottages the night before my wedding in March 2018. Not only was it close to our venue (Kumeu) but the views were amazing, the cottages were vintage chic with homey touches and are quiet with a lot of privacy. Everything is provided including a cook your own breakfast. Only downfall is there is no wifi and due to us staying the night before the wedding I had a lot of planning to do etc and was unable to do so due to service.

Beautiful country cottage cannot say a bad word about this place. I booked this for my wedding to stay with my bridesmaids the night before our wedding and to get ready on the day and then 2 more nights with my husband after the wedding. Very private, the outdoor bath is amazing! Just what we needed. We would definitely stay there again. The only thing that would make this better would be wifi connection especially if the stay is longer than 1 night.

This place is beautiful, calm, private and luxurious! I loved the little special touches everywhere from the organic rose soaps to the robes, to the breakfast to the decor - it really was relaxing for us to stay there for a night after all the mayhem of the wedding and day after BBQ where we were constantly around lots of people. Wonderful!!

The cottage was the BEST place me and my gf have stayed. Only 25 mins from the CBD but you really feel away from everything. With all the weddings, engagements and honeymoons the place has hosted the cottage has such great energy. We wanted to load it on a trailer and take it home with us! Will definitely be back.
