The location was excellent. Great being near the boat ramp. Pity they are doing roadworks nearby because that was a bit noisy. Hawks Nest is a beautiful location. It was great that we could bring our puppy on holidays. The place has a big yard, good undercover area and spacious living area/kitchen. It was a comfortable place to be.

The tv was fiddly to set up. It didn't connect to my phone wi-fi but was able to connect to my partner's. It wanted to stop programs and update all the time. The loungeroom blinds could use some work and there was no hot water through the shower head so we settled for using the bath but a shower would have been nice. The bed mattresses were adequate but not super comfy.

Quiet location, close to amenities and dog friendly beach.

A handrail in the bathroom would be a bonus.

No security locks on doors work no keys, No smoke detectors ,Needs Air con very hot all day up stairs , Blinds do not do any think for heat at all .

I loved second floor natural lighting, decor, pet friendly. Sofa's made things comfortable.

Basic cooking ingredients like salt, pepper and oil would have been very helpful.

Excellent location especially with children - walk to shops, playgrounds , fishing spots , bridge, cafes and even the beach if a little energetic .. house was very sweet and user friendly for a family, old but comfy furniture and big bathroom and bath etc ., and great undercover area under house for bikes and kayaks and fishing gear etc and fantastic yard for the dog!

Pity the oven wasn’t working / wanted to bake an apple pie ... could have used a bit more basics like hand and dish soap, paper towels etc., one electric blanket didn’t work ... if children were toddlers the flight of stairs could be a concern / maybe offer a removable baby gate feature ....

The maintenance was very poor. There were only 2 pedestal fans available. The house was old and smelled musty. The shower was tempremental. The DVD player didn't work until my husband fixed it. No washing up supplies provided. Appliances were old and the oven was broken.

Close to where we were working on our boat. Lovely quiet location only a stones throw away from the beach and the beautiful Myall River. My best friends old dog was sble to stay with us. He was the first reason for our choice but it turned out to be an all round perfect selection bravo
