The location was what we say in RealEstate location location the staff was great especially Gabriela She was vey attentive very helpful and friendly. Is one is looking for a very central location clean and apparently a new construction rverything did look new breakfast was very good access to yellow hip on hop off stop down a block stop 7 ATM steps away water front 5 min walk where Cristiano Renaldo Museum is located a must visit Ritz restaurant outdoor delicious food snd Gelato. Wine tasting and several excellent restaurants within steps of the S Francisco Park also steps away. Location was the best

Good location in the heart of Funchal city centre, with helpfull receptionist Sonia, and all the staff.
Good Breakfast, but always repeatedly, must change some things, but at the end is quiet well

We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is small, cozy and the rooms look exactly like the photos. Everything was very clean and nicely decorated. The location is great! A nice surprise was complimentary wine and a welcome cake. Many thanks to Sonia and the rest of the staff, they were wonderful, kind and very helpful, it was a pleasure to meet them. We definitely recommend staying at São Francisco Accommodation! :)
Breakfast could be a bit more varied, specifically adding scrambled eggs, sausages, pancakes and some nutella/caramel spread. But if you're not too picky, you'll enjoy breakfast anyway!

Amazing team, very welcoming and kind. They made the experience 10/10. Location was great as well, close to the center and the bus station.
Only that the floor of the room was in tiles as if water goes from the bathroom to the main room, it can become slippery.

Staff were wonderful...it's a lovely hotel, ideally situated in the heart of the city near restaurants and the Avenida do Mar.

Communications were great ahead of arrival..

The hotel is in the very city center where you have everything at hand. Just around the corner from the cathedral or Avenida do Mar with all the buses going around the island. The staff are so nice and helpful! When I mentioned that I would have leave before breakfast they immediately suggested to bring something to my room in the evening and put it in the mini fridge for me. Also, they didn’t have a slightest problem with storing my luggage for a week, when I hiked across the island. The service was just perfect! The room was clean, quiet and well equipped. Would stay again.

Great stay in Funchal, nearby restaurants, coffees and shops. The room was clean and quiet, the bathroom big and comfy. Good breakfast to start your day with attentive service.
Sonia is just amazing and gives good suggestions about activities and sightseeing. Private parking just in front (7€ p day).

Place was amazing. The receptionist Sonia was very helpful and she helped us to organise whole trip including renting a car which was much cheaper than at the airport.
Hotel... WOW---- was very clean, very good contact in case of any problems. Amazing place right next to all the buses and public transport including near beach which was 5 min away. To swim was a little further 😉 breakfast also was included which was very good start of each day,!!! I recommend this hotel as you will see they exceeded the expectations!!!!

2 suggestions for improvement: mosquito nets for windows (for keeping the windows open during night). Fresh veggies / salad for breakfast.

Breakfast was ok, but it was every day the same. It was quiet and very clean. The manager was very kind and helpful. Pleace is in the center of Funchal. Good localization.
The first room we get wasn't ok, it was smaller than we Reserved, but manager after ask change it for us. The rooms are pretty cold and ascethic. There was only bed, little table, chair and wardrobe. Fortunatelly the airconditioning has heating function.

Parking is not possible directly at the accommodation, it is in the centre, but there is a car house 300 m.

The staff is very friendly, the rooms are clean and modern, the bathroom is nice and functional. Sônia is super helpful and helped us to choose the tour we did and it was very pleasant. The accomodation is very well located endeed.
The double bed is not very big, it is a standard size tending to be small, which can be a little uncomfortable for a large couple.

We stayed for 5 nights and it was great! The location was perfect just next to the gardens, the room was very clean (cleaning every other day), breakfast was quite basic but a a good start for the day, very reasonable price and most importantly the staff was very kind and helped with the parking situation in Funchal. Definitely worth it and we would love to come back!

Great location, friendly staff, clean room, provided shower gel, comfortable bed. They can provide self check-in after regular hours
