The neighborhood was good and everything was clean

I wouldn’t recommend this place if you don’t have a car. The neighborhood was far away from the city center and from the beach. If you wanted to go there, you would have to go around and walk through the route next to abandon houses and vegetation. The apartment was too small for 6 people. The roof of the top floor is not high enough and it had no table next to the very small bed and no plug to charge your phone. There was only one toilet paper for 4 days. They charge extra you if you don’t take out the trash when you check out.

The apartment is situated in a very nice and quite complex. It is close to Tropea centre, port and train station. We managed to take a day criuse to the Aoelian Islands and a boat trip to the Costa degli dei from the port, the sea is spectacular. We also visited Scilla by train.

We had the 3rd bedroom in the etic and this was not comfortable since we had to walk through the room bending down. The first morning I nearly broke my head when I got up from the bed. The aircondition in the small room was not working and the one in the kitchen was not very powerful. There was no iron for the cloths.

The apartment is renovated, everything in it is new and clean.

The parking lot is being used by 3 different resorts and is always full of cars. You can find a spot only if you are lucky. The owner was not there when we arrived. She left the key under the door carpet and texted us. That was it!!! No instructions, no help, nothing. Probably she saw from our name that we were foreigners. Actually we never got to see her during the whole weekend. Very frustrating hospitality. Although we booked for 5 people they had towels and sheets only for 4. We had to text the owner who responded later the same evening.

Tomasso was an absolute brilliant host who went the extra mile time and time again. He even gave my family a lift to the train station on our last day....I'd highly recommend.

The property is accommodation only. Fortunately, the property is located in the grounds of a separately managed resort that offers full facilities like restaurant, pool etc. Resort management were always pleased to assist us, and allow use of their facilities (for a charge). The property is very close to the town centre - 10 minutes easy walking. Tropea is a lovely town and definitely worth visiting. Unfortunately it attracts a large number of tourists during the summer months, who crowd the narrow streets.

Property was advertised as 3 bedroom, but turned out to be 2 bedroom plus mezzanine over the living/kitchen area. The mezzanine is open to the living/kitchen area, which meant the living/kitchen area couldn't be used if another guest was sleeping in the mezzanine. Our 3 bedroom apartments was also on the upper floor, accessed by means of a steep staircase which didn't have a handrail. One of our party was elderly, and found it very difficult climbing the staircase. The living/kitchen area is very small, furnished with only a simple table, chairs and TV. Kitchen equipment was limited and inadequate if the apartment was at full occupancy.
