Très belle étape ! La chambre était confortable et belle. Au calme ! Très bon petit déjeuner. Nous recommandons sans hésitation. Le temps n'étant pas de la partie, nous n'avons pas profité du très beau jardin avec vue sur la Loire.

We absolutely LOVED our stay at Le Prieuré Saint Agnan. It is the most charming boutique hotel with the most delightful hosts EVER! It was like being guests in their home with so much charming care & delightful touches … the most delicious breakfasts in their beautiful dining room and wonderful conversations. It is so peaceful with gorgeous views onto the river. We felt so at home & spoilt with our charming hosts who went a thousand extra miles for us .. even fetching us from the station and at the end taking us half an hour away to collect our rented car. It honestly was the most wonderful perfect start to out cycle trip along the Loire River. We would love to go back!! 10 stars 🌟!! 🥰

The location is beautiful and the breakfast was delicious. The host was very helpful in orienting me to the town and making sure I enjoyed my stay.

The hotel was beautiful, owners very nice, great pool and breakfast with view of the Loire River. Cute town and great farmer’s market on Wednesday and Sunday in town. Great location for Sancerre and Pouilly Fume wine tasting.

Lovely rooms in a gorgeous, spotlessly clean Priory. Gilles, the host, was very welcoming and accommodating. The grounds and pool were amazing, as was the delicious breakfast. I would highly recommend a stay here.

Charming property by the river Loire. Very clean room, excellent hospitality and a lovely breakfast outside the next morning. The Host made a reservation for us for dinner which given it was a Sunday proved very helpful. We could also buy some local wine and cheese direct from the property.
Bed a little uncomfortable but didn't really affect our stay. Feel the price overall was a little too high.

This lovely house is situated on the very banks of the Loire, a few kilometres north-east of Sancerre. Although close to the centre of town, the house is very secluded and very quiet. Moreover, it is filled with wonderful treasures from around the world. In the absence of the owners, (away on holiday), we were looked after wonderfully by Anita and Bruno, who regaled us with a creole meal from Reunion. This is a truly delightful place to stay for exploring the region; please see the attached photos! Thoroughly recommended.
In terms of the property, there was nothing to fault; yes, it was that good!
However, be warned that restaurants in the town are few and far between and generally quite modest.
