the beds aren’t that comfy … especially for longer stays like ours … but hey when you wake up to that view!

Everything!Neat beds. Nice toilets. Kitchen had all basic items and more.

Kids didn't like cob webs and crawlies in some corners of the room/house. Heater of GF didnt work. 😢

The view was amazing place was very clean and great kitchen. Had everything we needed was right on the water and even seen a penguin right out the front. Would definitely stay there again

Beautiful surroundings, beaches, kangaroos, fishing though you can't catch any 😂.

If only wifi was there, I would give 1000/100.

Location is amazing! Best view of Emu Bay! Front yard is large, flat and grassed so kids could run, ride and play ball games while we could see them from the balcony. Playground is right across the road! Easy to find, first house on your left! Linen provided including towels which was great! House was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed.

Would have liked to have a dryer in the laundry or a large clothesline in the car port. Was great to be able to wash our clothes but we couldn't dry them, particularly as it was raining/wintery weather. One small airer provided otherwise had to hang on the line outside where they got wet. Had to drive back to Kingscote to pay for dryer at laundromat. If travelling with little kids: there is no fence and the house is on the main road (which is not busy as Emu bay is very quiet). If kids playing in front lawn, watch for kangaroos in the evening and cars. Also external steps to deck are very steep and balustrades have gaps.

Needs some TLC and repairs. Looking a bit worn out and tired.

Hamilton was amazing, perfect location, perfect view. Beds were so comfortable, home was spacious and spotless. Loved the wildlife that came and visited. We had a family of Kangaroos every night and on our last night we were visited by a little echidna.

There was absolutely nothing to dislike about Hamilton.

Location and views from the property are exceptional. We enjoyed our stay but the items we mentioned took the edge off it for us. I hope the owners spend some time and a little money on this property to bring it up to a decent standard for future lettings.

The house was not clean. Dirty patio windows that have clearly not been cleaned for some considerable time, musty bath towels, TV working intermittently. Remote control for TV and air conditioning very unresponsive. The hot water was so hot that my wife burnt her hand under it and this would be a safety concern if young kids were using the shower. All the cooking utensils we used we had to clean ourselves as there was clearly food residue on them. The floors were grubby throughout which showed on our feet and socks when walking about on the first day. The sliding door between kitchen and hall does not work easily and the mechanism guiding it on the floor is broken/missing. If you shut this door it swings slightly knocking on the door frame which is very annoying. The light lens from the extractor actually fell out into a pan full of food while I was cooking. One of the floor standing fans safety cages around the blades was loose and caused the fan blades to drag on it. We were told AFTER booking this property that there is limited to NO phone signal at the property. There is no WiFi but we knew this before booking. It would have been nice to know about the phone signal issue before booking the property especially as the owners are clearly aware. We run our own businesses and need to be in contact wherever possible. It's ok for a day or two but we stayed here for 4 nights. We were also told AFTER booking the property that there is discount available on the ferry. Again this would be better to tell people this information somewhere before they book as we had already booked our ferry minutes before booking the house. One of the Roman blinds was broken upon our arrival and various curtain rings on the curtains. The patio door flyscreen latch does not work and gradually works it's way open letting in the mosquitos and flies.
