Beautiful & comfortable cabin on a beautiful lake. Close to Mackinaw Island, Boyne Mountain, and many options of restaurants and shopping. Plenty of great space to spend together as family.

We had a wonderful stay. The cabin was clean & comfortable. Each of the 9 ladies on our girls trip especially enjoyed having their own bed…no sharing! And 3 bathrooms were perfect! The property is spacious…enjoyed the fire pit, kayaks, and shuffleboard. Beautiful, clear lake for swimming. Chuck (owner) was very responsive to our communication efforts, and has a wonderful manager just a few houses away for any questions or situations that come up. I would go back anytime, and will be recommending the cabin to others.

The listing description and pics were spot on - not a bit of exaggeration. Well stocked kitchen, comfy beds, plenty of games and outside fun. Chuck and Gene were both super helpful and easy to contact. The lake was so beautiful and so were the sunsets We built fires, grilled, paddled, boated and swam. 3 couples and a toddler had more than enough space. We will be back!

We had a great week at the cabin. The owner contacted us soon after we arrived to make sure that check in went smoothly and to let us know to contact him if any issues should arise…none did. The cabin was great for our family. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen isn’t large, but worked great for the several meals we ate there. WiFi worked well for the occasional kid’s videos we streamed. We appreciated the firewood that was provided for bonfires. We used the gas grill a couple nights and it worked well and was in great condition. We couldn’t have had a better week on Burt!

Our family of 6 adults and 3 children had plenty of room and comfort at this cabin. All of the amenities were provided to make our week very enjoyable. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was very functional, indoor and outdoor eating areas were great and a washer and dryer was nice. The grounds were great for activities and water access was good for boating.

Good stay, house accommodations were fine Swimmers itch was the problem for us.

Cottage is welcoming and homey and accommodated our group of nine nicely. We enjoyed the lake, time hanging out in the dock and kayaking. A very relaxing vacation.

The house was roomy and clean. It easily fit 10 people. We had spacious room outside for games and activities. The house was also close to attractions like Mackinaw Island, the Soo Locks in Sault Saint Marie and easy access to small northern Michigan towns for dining and shopping.

A great cabin on Burt Lake. The 9 of us enjoyed our week at the lake. The cabin was spotless and came with everything needed to enjoy the lake. We will definitely consider returning to this cabin next time we vacation in northern Michigan.

This place was perfect got family gateway. Great location.

We stayed for a bowling trip. The place was awesome though and I would consider coming back in the summer.

The owner, Chuck was very good to deal with. We really enjoyed the rustic outdoor theme in the house, perfect for a guy's weekend! We'll definitely come back again.

Stayed here in February to fish Burt lake. Great access to lake with ramp provided for getting on and off the ice. Good location and just a short walk/drive to lake access and hoppies. Host was extremely accommodating.

The cabin was amazing, very clean and easy check in process. I would definitely stay there again.

The stay was amazing! The cabin was beautiful & a nice getaway! once you take a look at the back & see that water view. So breathtaking. there was 6 of us! we were very comfortable & lots of room!

This home was perfect for our group. There was plenty of room and the house was well equipped with everything we needed for cooking. We enjoyed our stay and definitely wish we could’ve stayed longer!

Cabin and property were nice. Area is ask quiet several members mentioned. A bit farther out of Indian River than I thought it would be. Would consider this property again .

Living room is huge with 4 comfy swivel lazy boys plus couch. Cooking there was easy-peasy ... we hope to come back!!

This was our first visit and we can’t wait to schedule our next. The property was super clean and equipped with just about anything you needed. We were a party of 10 (6 adults and 4 children) and for comfortably in the house. Any questions were answered immediately.

property was more beautiful than expected. plenty of amenities to keep you entertained. Lake was awesome and dock was very useful. we needed for nothing and restaurants and stores were close enough for convenience. Overall, a ten rating for anyone who wants a peaceful vacation with an awesome view every morning!!

Chuck's place was terrific! Very clean and comfortable, great location on the lake. Gene was responsive, and Julia was very friendly! Kitchen is well stocked with what we needed for cooking, fire pit was enjoyed almost nightly, as well as the shuffleboard and sandbox by my 2-year-old grandson. Would definitely stay again but unfortunately, the place is booked for next summer:(

The cottage was perfect for our 2 week vacation. We had 11 adults and teens and the accommodations exceeded our needs. The beach was great for the kids and they enjoyed the kayaks, shuffleboard and badminton. Chuck and Gene and Julie were very helpful and most attentive to any questions we had. Overall, a fun and relaxing vacation at a beautiful lake.

Our group of 10 absolutely loved our stay at this cabin! We had 4 adults, 3 teens & 3 kids. There were plenty of beds for everyone to be comfortable & have space to themselves. We thought the two extra drink fridges were a great touch - so helpful when the main fridge was packed with our food for the week. The lake water was crystal clear & it was a total bonus for it to be shallow near the dock so the kids could get in & out of the water without worry. We rented a pontoon from Indian River Marina - it was a beautiful, 40ish minute boat ride from the marina to the cabin. Day trips to Mackinac & Petoskey were a piece of cake due to the central location of the property. Badminton & shuffleboard were a hit with everyone! Chuck was easy to communicate with from start to finish. Thanks for sharing your slice of Burt Lake with us!

The property was just like it listed

I was struck immediately by the immaculately cared-for yard and pristine condition of the outside of the "cabin". The inside did not disappoint--it was well-decorated, the kitchen was stocked with appliances, the dining area was perfect for our large group; the beds were comfortable, the living room area was spacious, and there were multiple fans as well as air conditioning. We loved the badmitton, shuffleboard, fire pit, and sandbox provided for us on the lake side. And the lake was fantastic. My 9-year-old granddaughter said, "Can we come back here next year?" Highly recommended.

This cabin is so spacious! It has plenty of sleep space and bathrooms for a larger group and you don’t feel like you’re invading anyone else’s space. It was fully stocked with everything we needed and more. Plenty of things to do in the backyard and water and a great location—not far away from many local tourist hot-spots.
