Pool was nice and green area pleasant. The mother who lets you in and gives you keys is very friendly, though it seems any "business" aspect, such as payments, etc. are all delegated to the men in the family.

Very poor and UNRELIABLE internet connection. :( On my first of 3 stays there, I had to convert to an expensive phone call w a S American client when zoom did not work, Continuous buffering when trying to stream. Even at 2nd and 3rd stays, AFTER work done by their technical person, the connection kept going and coming. For my 2nd time, I got a NON working TV, they came and fixed it in the middle of dinner but would be more organized if they did a quick spot check before people come to correct these issues. On first stay, son came by for payment late and in middle of dinner. It seems the very nice mother "doesnt have the training necessary to know how to use the pos machine to take a credit card payment" (this was the official excuse). It seemed they really needed a handyman to fix things, but son who is a lawyer and works late very day in nearby Pisa told me that in this small town (Cascina) where they are from, "you can trust no one". I went out and unloaded suitcases, etc from my car as I had foreign plates.
