The location and staff were great. Overall a great budget hotel. Breakfast was minimal but sufficient. It has to be said the staff was fantastic and accommodated me surprising my partner with some champagne when we came into the room.

From the pictures I expected a little more from the room. The bathroom and beds were quite basic, but admittedly we chose the hotel as more of a base to stay the night and not spend too much time in so we could travel around.

Das Hotel lag für uns super südlich von Reykjavik. Das war für unseren Roadtrip nötig. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Parkplätze vor dem Hotel waren kostenlos. Das Zimmer war groß und geräumig und man konnte auf den Betten gut schlafen. Das Badezimmer war ebenfalls groß und funktional. Für eine Nacht aber absolut okay, wenn man nichts besseres findet.

Unser Zimmerfenster lag direkt am Parkplatz, sodass es keinerlei Privatsphäre gab, ohne das man am Tag die Vorhänge zuziehen musste. Leider befanden sich an den Wänden und auf den Möbeln teilweise alte Flecken unbekannter Herkunft, was nicht wirklich dafür sorgt, dass man sich gänzlich wohl fühlt. Teilweise wirkten das Zimmer schon ordentlich abgewohnt, bzw. nicht wirklich gepflegt. Nicht an allen Ecken wurde mit Sorgfalt gereinigt. Das Frühstück war nicht der Rede wert. Relativ lieb- und geschmackslos. Nur wenig konnte man mit Genuss essen! Aber das ist ja bekanntlich Geschmacksache! Das WLAN war leider nicht sonderlich stark.

Ein Hotel was mal eine Renovierung gebrauchen könnte.

Location was great and price was good too. Free morning breakfast was nice.

One of window blinds was broken and no cups were provided in room. No coffee pot in room, either.

L'amabilité inexistante du personnel d'accueil, le manque d'écoute, le petit déjeuner au rabais (très peu fourni et très peu varié) le choix est limité, non conforme à leurs photos et les quantités ne sont pas bonnes.

The staff were very friendly and it was convenient to have a bar downstairs. The free breakfast was great. The room was very clean and the blankets were comfortable. Check in and check out was easy and they have open WiFi. The lounge/bar area are extremely cute and they offer a second lounge on the third floor.

I understood the location was not in the city center and picked it because it was a bit closer to the airport on our last night. However, I did expect there to be a bit more within walking distance around the hotel. The bar only served beer and wine, which was still great but would have been nice for more options. The beds were not just two mattresses in one frame as I expected but rather two beds pushed together that kept moving apart during the night.

It’s a good spot . Big parking lot , rooms are newer , with great bathroom . Breakfast is not bad , even you don’t have any hot option . You have shopping mall and market right next to for everything you need .

Thinks we didn’t like is that it was so hot . I know it’s Iceland , you don’t expect heat , but it was unbelievable hot in the hotel . I turned off heaters right away but it was hot to that point that we slept only in our underwear, with no blanket or anything on us , with tiny window open (only can open little bit) and it was still very hot .
