I though it was a bargain for $740MXN for two nights but I will not be back, ever.

There's hardly anything nice to say about this place to be honest. Bathroom is terribly stinky (it quickly spreads throughout the entire room and really put us off from the very beginning to the very end), water smells really bad, the floor left our feet black in no time, towels and bedding not washed properly, no mosquito nets in the windows + windows can't be closed so be ready to fight some mosquitos off during the night, and prepare for noise from the nearby road until late at night. The original pictures are far from reality, the room is pretty beat up and obviously doesn't get much of maintanance. There are three wifi routers in the room (probably not very good to have in a bedroom btw), however the wifi is pretty unstable. Hard to say about the other two rooms on the floor but our experience was pretty awful. First time ever I wanted to leave my accommodation right away.

It was dirty , the sheets,pillows and towels were very old and had stains , the sofa bed was very dirty , a terrible smell came from the bathroom drains .. I stayed 2 days and the trash was never taken out .. overall bad experience

Abrieron la habitación sin mi consentimiento y no dieron ni una explicación aún estando mis cosas personales en la habitación y dejaron todo sucia la habitación, ya que estuvieron entrando y saliendo, repito que sin mi consentimiento Me dijeron que me harían la factura correspondiente y en cuanto deje la habitación dejaron de responder y por ende no me han realizado la factura La habitación no era como en las imágenes y la persona que ofrece el servicio insistía en preguntar sobre si había conseguido alguna chica y si no era así el podía decirme donde conseguir, aunque le comente que ese no era mi plan de viaje Muy incómodos sus comentarios

The location was alright.

First of all, the room doesn’t even look like the pictures. The pictures on the website are pictures that were taken years ago, and now the facility is very old and nasty. Also, the room wasn’t even ready when we arrived to the facility. Secondly, the staff is extremely rude. He tried to kick us out of the facility a day before the check out date because he was confused about the date and didn’t even apologize after realizing that he was the one who was confused with the date. I was very upset with the owner. Overall, worst experience ever. Rude owner, nasty room, dirty toilet. Also, the room is extremely hot. 1/10.

Got there called and they answered and said they were sleeping so didn't let me check in so I had to look for some where else to spent the night.

Host speaks no English but he’s a great guy- you must try. I’m used to better pans in the shared kitchen.

Really nice neighborhood, away from Centro. Beautiful rooftop terrace. Lots of street food within walking distance.

The toilet constantly leaked water on the bathroom floor. The room smelt a bit after 2 days.

Easily immerse yourself in day to day Guadalajara local life. Not a tourist hotspot. And no apparent danger. Beautiful little town square of a district and full of local life. EVERYDAY you will wake up to the sounds of the locals, chatting, mopeds, daily life but not too loud it's just the most perfect ambience. The views as I may have said is great. For the price you paid it was too good to believe. You've got the stadium and mountains in the background, with beautiful trees both in front but not blocking the view and the city skyline right in front. You're NOT ONE MINUTE away from a pharmacy, a good little grocery shop local food stands of all local delicacies, a pharmacy, a major church with many masses, a cafe with beautiful ambient jazz. This isn't upper class but it's middle class. A place where you feel safe, where there's modern cars and people wear nice things too. 10 MINUTES WALK from a major, modern, safe metro station and a Hypermarket not to mention bars and Pizza huts, nice dentists and it's not hazardous to walk around (as always it's up to your discretion how you dress). Just a drive away from the Zoo and 40 minutes form the airport. I DID NOT STAY THERE I LIVED THERE. I FELT LIKE A LOCAL

Well if you're a solo traveller or well travelled couple you know that in hot countries and old buildings, it isn't going to be a hotel this is like all the other locals houses! If you're icky about certain things or fussy then don't go find a perfect hotel. If you haven't much money and want to live just as they do. So no complains for the excellent cheap price you pay for a room with such a good view and location and EXPERIENCE. Try and learn some Spanish for this property and the area.

Awful experience, the host is not honest, he took my money when i arrived and then refused to give me my change, when i asked him where my money was he said i never gave him any! i was supposed to stay for two nights but i left the following day because i did not trust leaving my belongings in my room when i went out also the room is nothing like the photographs, as other guests have stated, its a small old room with a sofa in the corner, this is not a 'suite' also the bathroom smells very bad and they're cctv cameras everywhere so overall a very uncomfortable experience

The neighborhood is wonderful. Colinas de la Normal is a residential area that’s a pleasure to walk around in, with enough small shops and restaurants to satisfy your needs. There is a metro station, La Normal, although it’s about 1 km away. The internet connection was excellent.

First of all, the property’s description on the Booking website is misleading. This is not a "one-bedroom house", it’s a double room with a private bathroom, plus a common area consisting of a small shared kitchen and a rooftop patio with some plastic tables and chairs. There are 3 double rooms in total; you will stay in one of the rooms and have access to the shared parts. It’s not a bad arrangement, but the description on Booking should be more accurate. The room I was in was okay during the day but it was very hot at night, even with the window open and the fan running. I was also constantly bothered by mosquitos while trying to sleep. I ended up with numerous bites on my arms and legs during my stay. But the real problem occurred near the end of my stay. One night a violent thunderstorm began around 9 PM and went on for a couple of hours. During the storm the ceiling of my room began to leak in 2 different places, one of them over the bed. I had to grab pots from the kitchen to catch the water, and empty them out before they got full. Then I had to sleep on the half of the bed that was still dry. It was not a good night!

very nice place ! clean and good location. bed was super big and comfy :) easy check in and check out, you get everything you need in there. Worth the money spent, will definitely come back!

Everything! The room was nice and comfy with private shower and toilet, very close to the center and on wednesdays there is a street market right outside the street. Victor was awesome, he gave us a vacant room since we arrived tired at 02:00 am, then gave us our room around 11am, wifi works well all throughout the house and the terrace is very cool to enjoy the sunrise and chill! Definitely coming back!

Very difficult to point something I liked about this place. Just to say something positive, the location was good, not too far from city centre

The entire property looks old and not very clean, the room wasn't ready at arrival even when got there around 5 pm, sheets are worn with holes and seems not very sanitised. The welcome was not very warm even bit rude and impolite

Staff was super nice and chilled he accommodated a late check-in. The terrace beautiful, bed and towels clean as well as the toilet. The room is fairly big and there is a big sofa and wardrobe. Plus there are marvelous paintings.

Location is really nice in a wonderful neighborhood, if you're lucky there is a local market on the street right in front of you. The rooftop is really nice with a lot of plants and an open kitchen. Communication with the owner was awesome, he is helpful and answers really quickly.

You could feel the springs in the bed and sometimes the shower was not really warm. Bathroom was small but okay for us.

The TV made a loud noise need to be upgraded and the restroom is very small

The convenience of being close to where we were needing to be and the the feeling of a local neighborhood.

The place is starting to look and feel tired. Mould on bathroom ceiling, wall and on shower curtain. Bedding tired and old, tried to make payment with CC but not working asked to pay by cash on an early morning,when we were waiting for the machine to work and didn't receive our receipt for the payment.
