Some residual damp smell persisting.

Very convenient location with plenty of parking right round the corner from the cottage. Plenty of storage in the bedroom (and special thumbs up for adequate hangers 👍🙂). Very good WiFi. TV on wall mount so good for whole room. Warm and cosy. Really I could go on there were so many thoughtful features.

(These were minor inconveniences) The loo took a little patience and understanding to get it to flush! It might be more of a Shipton problem than the cottage itself, but the water did not make a good cup of tea.

Cosy character cottage with everything we needed and some little extras to get us started which were much appreciated. Nice little garden with seating and table . Good pubs within walking distance which were dog friendly.We didn’t spend much time there other than to sleep as we were out and about so didn’t really use kitchen facilities but it appeared well equipped . The bath and shower were good and water very hot .

The carpets were a bit past their life span which made the cottage look a bit tired but that’s our only negative .
