Staff didn’t really know what was happening when checked in. Rooms wasn’t clean and beds was terrible. Over priced pub/hotel taking advantage of the festival being on and increasing prices!

Damp on walls and ceiling, and carpet Window had been kept open to try to get rid of the damp smell.

Very good location with extremely helpful and friendly staff. Only drawback was that the restaurant closed at 8pm.

Second time I've stayed here and it's a nice place to stay, cheap and cheerful!

WIFI didn't work in the room.

The continental breakfast was as expected, I.e. cereals, toast, fruit juice, teas and coffee.

When items, like fruit juice, coffee, bread, plates and glasses ran out, they were not replaced until you found someone to ask to do so. Nobody kept an eye on what was going on. Also, we were asked if anything needed replenishing in the room and if we said no, it meant that nobody cleaned the bathroom, emptied the bin or made the bed.

The location was great, so close to all amenities. Loved the walled garden behind the pub, with squirrels and daffodils.

Clean and tidy. Comfortable rooms.

No car unloading area considering there is no parking.

The breakfast was ok but not very imaginative compared to other B&Bs. More effort could have been made to keep returning customers Only booked it due to location

The room was quite small and dark. On the ground floor with scaffolding outside which had not been mentioned when booking

poor facilities (not serving meals at the time of the stay). pub looks very tired and rooms look to have been neglected for some time - very scruffy. would not stay again. Very poor and not worth paying any amount for.

It was a great location and such a lovely lady who made us so welcome at George and Dragon.

Stayed in Room 1 - Dodgy board with mould above shower

Location for the theatre and town excellent. Breakfast ok requested cooked and offered to pay extra but declined. The room was better than we anticipated. We would suggest a table lamp in lounge area as the light was far too bright when my partner got up early to read. The garden area is pretty and the accessibility to the room was pleasing.

Checking in there was no flexibility. We arrived at 12.45 and told no we could not check in and no effort was made to see if the room was ready. The pub was not busy. The light in the room lounge area too bright. No teaspoon with the tea and coffee facilities. No wifi access signal was poor

Misleading saying breakfast included, it was continental breakfast, well packet croissants & toast! Was expecting cooked breakfast especially as they have a kitchen & restaurant. Room needed some tlc, mould all over bathroom ceiling & tired looking furniture
