Possibilité de partir pour le parc de Yala en jeep avec eux, départ 4h30 pour nous et retour 12h30, avec petit-déjeuner à emporter. Le conducteur de la jeep était top.

We absolutely loved our stay at Nehansa Resort! The staff went above and beyond from start to finish. We booked very last minute and the manager messaged straight away to organise pick up from the bus stop we were being dropped off at (this was free!). We were also helped when it came to figuring out how to get to our next spot - the manager dropped us off at the bus stop and also waited with us till the bus came to make sure we got on ok. We were greeted on arrival with fresh coconuts (very much needed after our 4hr bus journey from Galle) and were then taken on a mini safari around the nearby lake which again was included in the price.
We booked our safari at Yala National Park through the hotel also - this trip was absolutely incredible! Our driver Amila did such an amazing job at spotting the different wildlife and we could not have asked for a better driver/guide. We enjoyed our stay and safari so much that we extended our stay and booked on the safari again for the following day (this ended up being even better than the first day with us spotting 3 different leopards).
The room we stayed in was lovely and super clean. It also had A/C which was very much needed after the safari. We ate here every night and the food was great - the portions were big so we never went hungry! The breakfast that was included on the safari was also plentiful and tasty. Shout out to the 2 guys on the front desk (apologies as we didn't catch your names) - they were both fantastic and couldn't do enough for us.

Wir haben die Unterkunft für eine Nacht gebucht, um eine Safari in den nahegelegenen Lunugamvehera Nationalpark zu machen.
Wir hatten dort eine tolle private Safari mit einem sehr netten Guide (er konnte die meisten Tiere sogar auf Deutsch benennen), welche uns von der Unterkunft noch am Tag vorher organisiert wurde.
Außerdem wurden wir kostenlos von der Bushaltestelle abgeholt, haben zur Begrüßung Getränke bekommen und wurden abends zu einem See gefahren, an dem wir viele Vögel, Flughunde und ein Krokodil sehen konnten (siehe Bilder).
Hinter dem Haus gibt es Rehe zu sehen und wir durften ohne Aufpreis erst später auschecken, um uns noch von der Safari auszuruhen.
Das Personal war zu jeder Zeit zu erreichen und immer sehr aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

The staff went above and beyond themselves to make us feel welcome. We received a chilled coconut juice when we checked-in and they also took us on a free bird watching tour in the afternoon. When you need to go anywhere, they‘ll also help you out by getting a tuktuk or even driving you yourself. The breakfast was exceptional. The safari we had booked via the hotel was also great. We got a small breakfast despite the early pickup time and a knowledgable guide who tried his best to make our experience memorable.

Lovely peaceful place and the room was clean and comfortable. They arranged a safari (in-house) & we had a fabulous driver/spotter. Breakfast is included & you can order other meals there too - which are all good. They provide daily water, a trip to the lakes to do some bird, croc & bat spotting & they have deer out the back that come when they're called! Their main focus is keeping the customer happy & it's evident in everything they do. The staff are amazing- they really want you to have a good time. Thanks especially to Mihirange, Priya & Shamika who made my stay wonderful!

Zeer mooie plek met erg vriendelijke medewerkers. Ze verwelkomen je direct bij aankomst met een heerlijke kokosnoot. Daarna hebben we fietsen mogen lenen om het dorp te verkennen. Savonds kregen we nog een gratis tour rondom het meer. De volgende ochtend hebben ze voor ons een tour naar Yala georganiseerd en dit is allemaal erg goed bevallen. Al met al een heerlijke plek met zeer lieve mensen.

Diese Unterkunft ist ein absoluter Traum! Die Familie ist so unfassbar nett und zuvorkommend, dass wir uns direkt wohl gefühlt haben. Wir wurden an der Bushaltestelle kostenlos abgeholt und bei Abreise auch wieder hingebracht. (Sie haben sogar so lange gewartet bis der richtige Bus kam!). Das Zimmer war sehr groß und sauber. Abends haben wir noch eine kostenlose Tour bekommen, um Fledermäuse am See zu beobachten. Die Safari haben wir auch zu einem sehr fairen Preis über die Unterkunft gebucht und unser Guide war wirklich super!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Nehansa Resort and Safari in Tissamaharama, just 30 minutes away from Yala National Park.
The staff's warmth and dedication made our stay exceptional. They were incredibly helpful and ensured we had a memorable experience.
The resort's serene ambiance, spacious rooms, and beautiful garden provided comfort and relaxation. The on-site restaurant served delicious Sri Lankan cuisine.
This resort offers outstanding value for money, given its quality and proximity to Yala National Park.
Conveniently located near the park entrance, it made our early morning safaris effortless.
Meeting the owner, Mr. Anura, was a delightful experience. His genuine kindness and passion for the resort and wildlife added a personal touch to our stay.
Nehansa Resort and Safari is a must-visit for Yala National Park adventurers. The exceptional staff, good facilities, affordability, easy access, and the owner's personal touch make it an unforgettable destination.

Simply amazing time at this place! The room was perfect and the place itself was lovely. It was very easy to organise safaris and transport from here. A special thank you to Lahiru as well! Words can't describe what a great host he is. Throughout the time I was there he was always looking to help and he definitely made my trip more enjoyable with his fantastic suggestions. I honestly can't recall ever having a host as helpful as him.

Amazing service. We were picked up on the arrival and dropped off at the bus station at departure. We were welcomed with a cool coconut at the arrival and after the safari. We booked the safari through them. Everything was very well organized and for a very good price. Room was spotless clean. And the food was amazing. Please don't eat out but have all your meals at that place. It is cheaper than outside and so much better. They make everything very fresh from the scratch. Make sure that you ask for free fruits with every meal 😉

A nice and small place with good and clean rooms. Altough we did not book a Safari trough Nehansa they offered to make breakfast really early in the for us (4.30). We had the Breakfast for take away. The staff is nice and deliver a great service. Would definitely recommend this place if you want to have a safari in Yala.

We were so looked after by the lovely staff during our time. For any questions the answer was only a WhatsApp message away. Tuktuk shuttle to restaurants, watching the bats at sunset (which I don't think many people offer since we were one out of two tourist parties there). They called in the spotted deer to the neighbouring garden for us. We also had food there which was very delicious, lots of coconuts were opened for us. There was a Buddhist festival on one night which we were invited and taken to being the only tourists there and getting a real insight into the people and culture. Priyankara helped us with any requests (getting laundry done, where to go for massages etc). Lahiro looked after us like we are family. Very lovely experience. The room was clean, spacious and air conditioning worked well.

Priyankara and the team here were awesome. They helped us sort buses, picked us up and dropped us off from the stops and supplied us with fresh coconuts on arrival! We also got to see spotted dear in their backyard.

Our stay at Nehansa Resort was outstanding. We were made to feel at home from the very beginning with complimentary coconuts. The service was perfect. Priyankara brought us on a complimentary tour of the lake where we saw various species of birds and at sunset we saw thousands of bats flying out their tree for the night.
The room was air conditioned and possibly the most comfortable room we have stayed in since arriving in Sri Lanka.
We arranged a safari through Priyankara aswell which turned out to be spectacular for a very reasonable price.

Greay services, amazing staff and a very nice manager.
Everyone was always ready to help us with every necessity and to give useful advice on what to do.
They booked the safari for us and prepared tje food for the ride.
We really appreciated the manager's honesty: when we were booking we asked directly for two safaris, following some advice that we received from other people saying "one is not enough".
He suggested to book one safari and then decide afterwards for the second one, which was not necessary for us saving us money against his profit, and leaving us very satisfied.
The couple who was supposed to come on the safari with us quitted at the last minute. Despite this was clearly not the owner's fault, we were disappointed in seeing the price increase at the last minute because we would have been alone.
It would be better to have a "cancellation fee" for events like this, to make the responsible people pay.

We had an amazing time at this place! The owners are very friendly, the whole place is in very good shape and they have built a lovely garden which looks like a green oase. They showed us a family deer and organized an incredible Safari for us plus an excursion to see the bats at the lake. Our guide knew all the animals and even shared the German names with us. We can totally recommend this place :)

Location, Staff, food, facilities everything is so so good. The staff were so lovely and welcomed us with a tender coconut welcome drink even though we reached there a little late. We ordered dinner, and without hesitation, they prepared it for us. I travelled with elderly family members with so many dietary restrictions, they accompanied us with smiles. Sampath our chef there is amazing and so humble. The whole place is surrounded by a beautifully maintained garden full of flowers. Overall, we started our Srilanka trip in this place, they have us a positive vibration and a good vibe for our entire trip. I strongly recommend this place whether you travel alone or with your family. Additionally, book a safari with them, great drivers are available to make your Yala Safari memorable trip as well.

The hotel is nice, the room is cute, the bed was comfortable. We really liked the free pick up service from our bus stop, we could take advantage of their tuk tuk to go in the city, or to see bats and other animals in the evening for a fair price (some guests get the tour for free, but we didn't book any Yala safari with them). They still gave us some food very early in the morning before our safari with another company. The staff is very nice.

Fantastic host!
Super friendly and helpful. Organised Safaris in Yala and Bundala National Park for us, made us tea and cake before the Safari (even though it started at 4:30 am), picked us up at the bus stop, and drove us around the lake, showing us lots of birds, bats and a crocodile.
The room was nice, clean and comfortable too.
Highly recommend staying there.

A great place to stay near Yala. The whole team there were so helpful and friendly. Priyankara contacted us before we arrived with useful information and was then always available via WhatsApp. He took us out to see bats the evening that we arrived and also arranged a great Yala safari tour. The place is very peaceful, the food is great and plentiful and the room has everything you need. We would definitely stay here again.

Exceptional customer service. Very quickly after booking the manager Priyankara maessaged me to introduce himself. He provided very helpful information or how to travel there from Ella including bus times, bus licence plate number and his friend was ticket guy on the bus so he also told me where to get off the bus. Priyankara then met me at the bus stop in his tuktuk and toot me back to Nehansa. I was given a welcome coconut drink on arrival in the beautiful garden where they even have wild spotted deer that they feed. That evening Priyankara took me on a complimentary tuktuk ride to the lake to see the fruit bats at dusk which was cool. Priyankara arranged my whole day safari with driver Asanka who was lovely and definitely recommend. Yala is a big park and the jeeps go in different directions so you sometimes feel you have the park to yourself. Picnic breakfast and lunch included. Lahiru -staff member at Nehansa is super nice and friendly. The day after my safari Priyankara and Lahiru were amazing and went above and beyond to help me. I had found a street dog at the lake with a bad case of mange. Priyankara arranged for a vet to come to Nahansa and with Lahiru we went looking for the dog. For just £5 the vet came out, gave the dog two mange injections and a worm tablet! Thankyou! Great place to stay and excellent customer service all round. Highly recommended
I was travelling alone so had to pay for a private jeep. This may be out some peoples budget so would be nice if there was some jeep sharing options between guest houses

If I could rate this place a 12/10 then I would. Easily the nicest place we have stayed in sri lanka. Immaculately clean. Excellent ac. Very comfortable bed. Stable wifi.
The staff are simply wonderful. So friendly and so helpful, the highlight in an already 5* room. We were advised on which buses to take, and taken to a from the bus stops for free on a tuktuk, organized the safari, took us to a nice restaurant, available at all times.
We were greeted with a cold king coconut on arrival which was a great treat! They prepared breakfast/snacks to take on the safari and made sure we had time for coffee in the morning before we left. When we returned from the safari we were provided with fresh mango!
The safari was incredible - I'm not sure if the driver/guide is the one who always does the safaris from this hotel but he was amazing!! He was so knowledgable and could spot wildlife at great distance. He was so patient and allowed lots of time for appreciating the wildlife
The only negative thing I could comment on was the shower pressure which wasn't amazing - otherwise i couldn't fault it!

I like everything about this resort .It's easy to write a review of this resort- excellent,excellent,excellent.. from the behaviour of the staff to the facilities in the resort,we can't find even a teeny tiny mistake. First,they welcome you with tender coconut water which is so warm.. rooms and toilets are clean, the staff are very supportive and the overall ambience is a soothing one. Everything comes at an affordable price too..

Probably the best hotel during our holiday in Srí Lanka. Owner of hotel since the morning texted us to ensure that our stay will be fully prepared. Tuk tuk was waiting for us on bus station, we had delicious dinner, breakfast and lunch. Our trip to safari was ensured and could not have been easier. We appreciate the friendly approach of staff and the unbelivable combination of low price and quality of provided services. If you will go to Tissamaharama, go there and you will not regret.

A great place to stay. Very clean and everyone is very friendly. The food was very tasty! At the arrival day we were at a small lake watching bats, thanks for the tip! The Yala safari tour was organized for us and it was great. We enjoyed it very much and recommend the accommodation to everyone!

The accommodation was perfect and incredible value for money. We were welcomed with cold face towels and a cold coconut drink. They organised a private safari for us at Yala national park which we enjoyed very much. They packed and provided us a lot of food for the Safari which was much appreciated. We couldn't be happier with this accommodation.
