A perfect place for birders like us. Huge variety of wildlife Close to Cascade and Grand Marais and the Gunflint. Tremendous hikes

Very cozy, clean and comfortable.

My son was running a 50K and I couldn’t find accommodations at the lodge that the race was using for the event. We found this house and it turned out to be perfect. It was minutes away from the event and also we got to escape the crowds and has relaxing quiet time. The area was beautiful with plenty of food options, water falls and a gondola ride! If he ever runs this race again I will reach out to this property again. Had all you needed except a tv which I liked but my two grown sons would have liked to watch a movie—especially after running just under 32 miles😀 Everything was there that you would need as far as a kitchen even though we ate out. Beds were comfortable but I am glad it was just the three of us as it would have been too crowded to have all 6 of us. Highly recommend and I KNOW it must be beautiful in the fall!

We enjoyed the recent snowstorm on the hills at lutsen and had an amazing place to enjoy meals and a fire!

We love this place! It's secluded, surrounded by nature, and has everything we want and nothing we don't. We had great communication with Brennan, who reached out proactively to make sure our arrival was smooth. This year, we found great hikes at Oberg Mountain and Magnetic Rock. We'll come and stay again :)

This is a comfortable clean property with nice extra amenities such as a bluetooth speaker system and cozy gas fireplace in the living area. The kitchen is fully functional. The view can't be beat. It's only a couple minutes from Lutsen Mountains. Overall, we were very satisfied.

This was our second time back, love the location and the space for the family. It's close to Lutsen and we can wake up to lake views.

Property and location were fantastic for a long weekend getaway in Lutsen. Secluded yet conveniently located near Lutsen Mountain ski area.

Having the ski hill, woods, waterfall and hiking trails close to us was what we wanted, the location was perfect. We were happy to enjoy peace and privacy you can’t get at a resort and hope to return this year. Our host was responsive prior to our stay, the cabin is very nice and had everything we needed to prepare meals, the view was beautiful.

This cabin is exactly what we were looking for and very similar to something we would want to own in the future! It's secluded yet very comfortable, very close to skiing and snowboarding, and there are trails to hike close by. The cabin is well maintained, clean and has beautiful character not to mention the views! We will be back again!!!

Overall stay was great! We were not able to get in the door for about an hour when trying to check in, this was a bit challenging but we were eventually able to get in. The location and area is great !

As a repeat guest- we knew we would enjoy our time at the cabin. Peaceful, quiet, relaxing!

The perfect cabin out in the woods to give the best up north experience

Staying at this property provided a nice retreat for our family. Everything we needed was on-site. Beds were comfortable, cabin was clean and well stocked, and communication was easy. The views from the top deck were fantastic!

Really great cabin, everything mentioned in the listing. Great set up with the bedrooms and living area. Dogs loved hanging out in the yard and deck. Easy to find even being out on a gravel road. Was messaged right after checking in which was a nice touch.

This property was perfect for our week long getaway to the north shore! The location was great for everything we like to explore up there. We would stay here again.

This is a repeat visit for us.The cabin is of unique design with extensive use of hand hewn wood throughout. The upper level deck off the main bedroom provides a treetop view of the lake and at night a stunning view of the stars. The location is excellent , especially if you appreciate the solitude of the surrounding forest, yet close to all the activities this area affords. Given the dramatic increase in cost of rentals since the pandemic Liitle Bear remains a great value for those whom wish to experience the many pleasures of this area. The owners are extremely attentive to every detail and exemplify the most desirable qualities of the good host.Highly recommend.

Second stay here and everything as good as the first!

Cabin was very clean and had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. Brendan communicated well and answered any questions that we had. It was a great place to stay!

This was a cute little place. Great location, communication with Brennen and very clean. We didn’t realize it but there is no TV. It was actually great because it made us do puzzles together! We had so much fun here and made a lot of memories.

We could not have asked for a better location. It was central to all the places we wanted to visit. Bonus feature is the winery just a mile down the road! Great little getaway for the family.

We've stayed at 2 other cabins on the mountain, one of which is on the same street as Little Bear, and Little Bear is by far our favorite. Loved the cabin and the location. It had everything we need. So happy that Brennan allows dogs at the cabin, something that is becoming hard to find. The cabin is laid out very nicely with nice furniture and decorations. Very north shore'esque. Glad to support a local property owner and not the north shore vacation house monopoly (not naming names) 😀

Our family had a great stay at the Little Bear Lodge cabin. The cabin is cozy but was a good size for the four of us. The location was very central to the activities we wanted to do (hiking, biking, Lutsen Mountain, visiting Grand Marais, etc.). It's also a very private location back in the woods, which is a plus when you're trying to get away from the city. Check-in was smooth and easy and the amount of communication was perfect.

So peaceful! Exactly what we were looking for. Very clean, comfortable. Had everything we needed. We will be back!

The listing was spot on and included anything you’d expect from a secluded home in the north woods near Lake Superior. Welcoming, clean and fantastic.

We really enjoyed our stay at Little Bear Lodge. It was a great place to relax and recharge. We weren’t able to spend as much time outside as we would have liked due to mosquitos this time of year all over the region, so it was nice to have the space to read/cook/play cards.

The Little Bear Lodge is an idyllic spot to spend a long weekend on the north shore. Highly recomend!
