The price was affordable and the amenities were good.

Warning: This is NOT a hotel but a residential apartment. Very misleading marketing to make you think you are staying at a hotel but you are not, so we were not satisfied with the accommodation. The branding that on the Booking page has a "Hotel Colibri" logo indicating it's a hotel, but upon arrival we were surprised that it was a residential apartment in a private condominium. We expected a full-service hotel with a receptionist, daily cleaning of the room, towel service, etc. and not just stay in a residential apartment. Big disappointment Additionally, the bathroom smelled very badly. Apparently there is a drainage problem, because every second day, we had to completely clean the bathroom with bleach to get rid of the bad smell. Very unpleasant. Finally, a little attention to detail would be nice, because when we arrived there were only 2 rolls of toilet paper on the bathroom, which were partly used. A pack of 4 or 8 new toilet paper rolls, soap, napkins (butler) and possibly some beach towels would be a pleasant surprise for any guest.

Everything was fine, clean , confortable and peaceful. Good beds and strong AC . Safe condo . Owner is responsive if you have any questions. I recommend having a rental car . Had a slight issue with the direction link from Booking.com but once I put the name of the condo in my GPS ( Real Amalfi) I was rerouted . I would definitely come back ! Thank you Francisco.

It would be wise for the landlord to warn the security guards of the arrival of his guests so they can access the property easily. You will leave an id at the entrance on your first arrival, once you do the check in , you will be given a pass that you will keep on display in the car and get your ID back , no a biggie but worth knowing. I love staying in the flat and extended my stay for another few days .

Everything was fine , very clean , comfortable and spacious . The compound is pretty peaceful as well. The owner was kind and responsive to any questions. I would just recommend to have a rental car which we had . I actually extended my stay as I fell very much at home in the flat .

Slight issue with drainage smell in the bathroom but it’s not an unusual issue in Mexico, a bit of bleach in the drain will sort out the problem. Hot water can be extremely hot so I would recommend to always open the cold tap first but again can be quite common in Mexico. The booking.com link sent me to the wrong address, but once it put the name of the condo in my GPS ( Real Amalfi) I was able to reroute easily.
