We really enjoyed our stay here. We are a small family of 3 (plus a friend). The house was as described and very clean. The neighborhood was quiet and convenient to both beaches. I would definitely recommend!

This was our second year in a row staying at this lovely little home. It's just perfect for the 4 of us. Walk to either beach is easy. Neighborhood is pretty quiet. Scott is very responsive and friendly. Hoping to come back every year!

We are a family of 5, two adults and 3 children ages 2, 4, and 7. We truly enjoyed our stay at this beach house. Just the right amount of space for our young family, super close walking distance with our beach caddie or stroller to either long or short sands and the fun that goes with both places! Awesome deck space! No bathtub but super easy to shower the babes with one of us! Absolutely the perfect location and we had everything we needed!! Scott is super responsive and communication was fast and easy! Definitely looking forward to renting here again, thank you for this opportunity!!

This property was exactly as described but even better was the location . Perfectly situated between the beaches and lighthouse.

This house was perfect for our little family - and accommodated another couple with an infant as well. We loved the open concept feel, the spacious porch and the fact that we could walk to both beaches with ease.

My son refers to this as our home away from home. We have been lucky enough to stay here every year for the past 6 yrs. Recent updates to the property were great. Scott is always responsive and easy to work with. We hope to stay here again for many more years to come.

We enjoyed the home and the proximity to both Long and Short Sands beach. Plenty of room for myself, two teens and my Mom. Neighborhood was relatively quiet and friendly.

Perfect location and space for our family. Beautiful natural light energizes the space along with seating outside to play board games. Scott the house is very responsive and helpful!

We loved it, exactly as described! LR/kitchen area is spacious and comfortable. Our weather was awesome so we spent most of our time out on the deck. Large deck with seating for 6 and a large gas grill ready to go! Location is spot on, right between both beaches! Easy walk either way! My husbands comment was “I could easily spend the summer right here!” We’ll def check availability for our next trip!

Sadly, after having rented this property a year ago when we would have given it an 8 of 10, this year we struggle to give it a 4 of 10. Lacking in quality is the key phrase. Everything from cleanliness to communication was better in 2020 than 2021. From leaking faucets to ants, from dirty carpets to lack of any amenities, sadly you get what you pay for. But wouldn't it be nice if you got just a little more? It would certainly make for a more enjoyable stay and allow for a more favorable review/ Lights that didn't work and others that couldn't be turned off. No directions for television and wifi that wouldn't connect. We learned a valuable lesson. If you want a camping experience this is the place for you. If you want a vacation experience, pay a bit more and find yourself happier in the end. We'll go down that path in 2022 in York Beach, Maine as we celebrate our 33rd summer the way life should be.

Perfectly centered chalet style house between the beach , the Lighthouse and the town which made walking to both super easy! Quiet, comfortable setting and Scott was very easy to communicate with. Off the main strip which is a huge plus if your goal is to just relax! Thanks Scott!!

My family and I enjoyed our stay here. The location is walking distance to either beach. Nice airy open room concept with small but adequate sleeping quarters. The grill needs updating (rusty) and was not usable to us but no other complaints. We would recommend.

We have been staying at this property for years, so much so my son thinks of it as "our beach house ☺️". The owner is extremely responsive. Love the location

My husband and and our two teens stayed there for the week. The host is very responsive and helpful, the place was clean and allowed everyone enough space to not drive each other crazy! The location is five minutes from short sands or lining sands. I was pleasantly surprised! We will definitely be back!

Had a great stay with fiance and family guests. Quiet street location, convenient to beaches and downtown. Owner very responsive to any all questions.

Nice place with good amenities. Like most places, not enough towel racks for bath towels and shower could use a rack for soap, etc. Porch was best part, but cleaners should make sure table is cleaned like inside. Main house gets very stuffy when closed. Fan needs to run. Ceiling fans in bedrooms would could reduce use of AC. Scott was very helpful when we struggled with cable.

Overall it was a nice rental. Cleanliness when we arrived was good. The neighbors are fantastic, very friendly. It was a much needed vacay.

We have been renting here for the past 4 years. My son even exclaimed "we're home" when we arrived. Scott is always prompt when reaponding and the location is perfect!

Great place, great location

We had a very good time staying at this place. It was clean and comfortable and in close proximity to the beaches and the light house. The only thing that could have made it better would have been a few necessities that we didn't think to bring such as toilet paper and dish washing liquid; other than that there were no problems.

This was my families first time staying in York and we loved it. The house was very clean and had a well stocked kitchen. The location was great as you can walk to Long Sands Beqch and Short Sands Beach, as well as the Nubble Light House. Very close to other landmarks. Will definitely rent next year.

This property was great. Spent a week in July and enjoyed the beach, shopping and the house. I am of Japanese descent so the rental just fit. The people in the neighborhood were so friendly and nice. My mom joined us in the middle of the week and the pull out couch was so accommodating. The contact person, Jana is sooooo nice and helpful. Will definitely rent this house again next year.

The house is cute, clean and well equipped but it is tiny in every way, especially the bathroom. If you weigh anywhere close to 200 lbs or stand anywhere near 6 ft tall, rent somewhere else. The shower is small and the toilet area is tiny. Too many windows and sliders too - zero privacy. Nice location, nice deck, but the size of the place was disappointing
