Very good service, no problem speaking English. Very good (took individual orders) breakfast that could be served on your own terrace. Only place I saw with a perfect grass lawn. Locked parking. Close to nice pastelaria.

Old school locks were finicky to use, they explained it at check-in so surely others have had troubles as well.

Excellent breakfast, very comfortable bed.

Very clean villa especially during COVID time it is very important. There are parking places inside villa and it seems that places available for all guests, there is enough space. Breakfast was served at terrace near each room due to safety measures in COVID, each room has its own terrace. We liked everything there including the owners who are managing guests stay!

There is nothing that should not be liked

I was a little concerned when we booked this accommodation due to its proximity to the main road, but I should not have worried as there was so little noise. The husband and wife team that own and operate the property were very welcoming, absolutely charming and could not have been more helpful. The rooms and gardens were in an immaculate condition and the room very clean. We opted for one of the larger rooms that had a large terrace with table, chairs and sun loungers. Our visit was during the pandemic so breakfast was served individually on the terrace. We ordered the previous evening and then made a call in the morning when we were ready to eat and the meal was delivered within minutes. There was an ample selection of breakfast goods from freshly squeezed orange juice through cereals, a choice of breads, cheese, ham, jams and yoghurt, coffee and a selection of teas. There is a breakfast room at the property so maybe when the Covid situation eases breakfast will be served there. The property sits at the side of the main N125 road, so is easily accessible and only a 15 minute or so walk from Monte Gordo town centre and another 5 minutes to the beach. We loved every minute of our stay at the Vila Formosa. We are regular visitors to the eastern Algarve and this will be at the top of our accommodation list for future stays.

What is not to like about a stay at the Vila Formosa. Everything was absolutely perfect. Well there was just one thing... We had to return home!

I got a lovely room with an extremely comfortable bed and a terrace with garden view. The apartment was very clean, the personal nice and helpful. The breakfast was very well organized and delicious.

Quick stop after arriving in Faro . We arrived late , but somebody was waiting for us to check us in . In the morning there was coffee and breakfast waiting fir us on the balcony just outside the room . Very clean room and decent breakfast made it great place for first day of our trip in Portugal .

Superb place, hospitable and friendly host who gave us free upgrade. Luxurious breakfast. Great value!
