Good sized room for an overnight stay, fan provided as it was very hot at the time of year. Very close to tram to get into city centre. Free motorcycle parking at local supermarket parking place.

We really had a pleasant journey in Cologne. Our room was relaxing and clean, good position for public transportation and the owner was very kind and helpful with us.

The host was very nice and available for any doubts regarding the stay. He even upgraded the room for us. The room and the washroom were very clean.

The location of the property is a bit fat from the city. 15 min by metro. But it’s well connected by line no 1 to the city. The heater inside the room was not very efficient.

Owner of the hotel did not open the heater on purpose due to the gas prices I guess. It was like a freezer. I tried to contact him to solve it but he always said that I will solve but never did. At the end, blocked me on WhatsApp like a teenager. This person maybe thinks himself as a Genius but not. It was really bad experience for us. I do not recommend anybody to waste their time and money for here.

Unpleasant smell of a mixture of mould and chemico Cheap mattress and bed linen (nylon/rayon?) Wallpaper peeling off the walls. Poorly plumbed shower with bad temp control. Open toilet in the room so you can watch and smell your partner while lying in bed. Luckily I was alone. Broken fan switch. Bed side light did not work. Notices posted all over in place of service. Poor lighting in the room. I booked this by mistake so failed to read other reviews. The 10km distance from the centre did not worry me, but may others. The photo of the cathedral gives a bad impression of proximity. I have been on a cycling holiday for about 75 days. In all the places I have stayed this has to be the worst with regard to value for money.
