I forgot something in my bedroom and the staff was not able to find it, give it back or to compensate - very unfortunate and never happened before to me. In that situation the communication was not easy: I had to call many times and insist on keep searching

this is my third stay at la Fortezza and it is still an excellent hotel

The room could use a little decor. Felt a little like a hospital. But still a good stay.

I found the floor in the shower very slippery.

Staff was very nice, rooms were clean and breakfast was ok. I would suggest more fresh options for the breakfast, like fresh juices.

Location was a bit outside the center, so you either need a public transport or a taxi. Parking lot is inside the hotel but you still have to pay for it.

The staff was very helpful and wonderful to work with. They were very kind and always ready to make your stay a nice experience. The room was clean.

Breakfast time was very busy. They only had two workers and it took time to get your coffee and find a table to eat. It is easier to have people choose their food and have the people place their dirty dishes in an area when they get busy.

Rafaelle on reception is a wonderful guy

The property was nice and clean, however it needs a little bit of remodelling and definitely painting. The receptionist was great, and the breakfast was of very good quality and with large choice. The staff at the breakfast and the cleaning staff were very polite and willing to offer their services.

It would be nice to have their walls repainted, as time and people left their signs on them.

when we arrived there was no one at the reception area. We had to go search for an employee which took about 10 minutes. I also don’t like that the front desk controls the air conditioning in your room. Although there’s a thermostat you have to tell them what to set it at.

Rafaelle was fabulous ! He gave us great suggestions of places to see in Florence Breakfast was delightful !

The staff was fantastic

We had a great time at hotel La Fortezza. Friendly staff, great breakfast and clean room. The parking space is a very good advantage if you are travelling with a car.

The internet was pretty bad and the place could use some remodelation, which I understood is going to have soon.

The staff were welcoming and incredibly helpful. it’s a 1 minute walk from a tram stop that takes you straight into the centre. The hotel looks classy and clean.

Unfortunately the first room we were given stank of smoke, however the staff handled this very well and moved us immediately. We were actually given a better room on a higher floor which we were very thankful for. I would say that even though there are no smoking signs, a lot of guests do smoke here as our new room had several cigarette butts outside the window.
