Breakfast was really yummy and an excellent portion size. It was so nice to be able to wander down from our room and receive such wonderful service and not have to worry about booking a table.

I loved the location and the beautiful decor. Very tasteful and lots of little sitting areas. The gardens were stunning. Breakfast was excellent. I liked the ability to choose. Overall dining experience great. The staff were very professional and extremely courteous.

Leaving to go home!

We had stayed at spicers Clovelly Eatate approximately 10years ago so we had big expectations based on that for our 30th wedding anniversary. Our last stay was excellent. This stay we met with lovely staff, very friendly and accomodating, room was lovely and we love the location and the many private areas to sit and relax

The experience did not match price, though nice not remarkable. Dinner was nice, but limited in choice and flexibility, just very overpriced for what it was - our stay felt like price gouging. I was charged $16 for a non alcoholic cocktail (I liked the mix) and asked for a half measure of gin - was charged another $16? Breakfast menu says $1.50 extra for jams, really? We are beekeeper’s so loved that you had bees, we spent over a $1000 and you give a tiny bottle of your honey, nice thought but looks cheap because by the time we left it just felt like a ‘how can we get the most amount of $ out of these guests’ such a shame, you have a wonderful location, nice staff, but you are missing the essence of a total experience worth the price.

The degustation dinner took nearly 4 hours. Too long. The garden 🪴 in the shower very poor.
