Everything was excellent and surpassed expectations. Ace is a great host.
The weather was the only huge disappointment!

Quiet location. Good parking. Restaurant was close so not far to walk in the rain.

The rooms (1 double bed and 1 single bed) was spacious, clean , bathroom was big enough and warm. Basic cooking equipment was provided , plus fresh milk in bottle . Not those miniature cups kind . We stayed for 1 night and left in the morning for our heli hike , it was super convenient, quiet to rest in before our early hike .

The location was excellent sitting against native bush. Room was very clean and staff were excellent. Staff had great local knowledge and were helpful where they could.
The only thing we didn't like was how much condensation was on the windows in the mornings. We used a towel to clear it off.

Great location , just one street up from the main road . Close to town but nice and quiet . Hosts were very friendly and helpful. Both on things to see and recommending a nice place for dinner. This motel was super value for money , with great parking .

We had two rooms. Both rooms were wonderful. The hosts were friendly and helpful. The surrounding area is beautiful.

Great location , short walk from everything in Franz Josef,
Nice sized room, well equipped , parking right by the door with small table and chairs out front to sit in sunshine. Also picnic table just across the car park for Al Fresco dining .
