Our kids LOVED the breakfast and I loved the comfortable bed.
No hotel parking but there was a blue zone parking quite nearby that you had to pay for from 9am.

Location to the beach. Immaculate & friendly hotel . Modern contemporary feel.
No hotel parking . Found a pay & display 2euro for overnight on the front approx 200yd walk.

the hotel is a 5min walk away from the beach and has a great bar/restaurant with a yummy breakfast
the rooms get very hot and humid when the a/c goes off when you leave the room. the rooms are relatively small with no rack for drying wet clothes.

Overpriced for the size of room and the decor. All looked a bit dated and tired.

It’s only a few blocks away from the city centre of Mataró. The staff is quite friendly, the room was clean.
The bed is very uncomfortable, we woke up with back and neck pain every morning. On the last day of our stay, they started to renovate the floor while we were there, suddenly all the floor mat around our room was torn off, and the smell of glue was circulating in the air. This would be unacceptable even in a low budget hostel.

Not didnt like just reminder -- offer information of what is available in the hotel / breakfast times etc. Very tired and i didn't ask but also wasn't offered ( including wifi detail ) Fab receptionist :)

The area ...
I was yesterday for 1 day in hotel new colon mataro. In this hotel I was so badly welcomed as a genius 3 member of booking that I am very disappointed. We got a room with no outside window but a window that opened into a room full of air conditioning s. Still, that room for 2 people cost us 70 eur without breakfast. Also there was no hot water when we wanted to take a shower. I want to show my displeasure about this .....

Brilliant hotel we were in the area for a function and it was an excellent hotel in a perfect location for us. The staff were brilliant in sorting out our queries especially as we don’t speak Spanish.

The staff was incredible kind. The room was very clean. You have to walk only 5 min to the beach. It was perfect!
Although there was an air conditioner, it was really really warm during the night. You can leave it on but then it's too cold. You can't leave it on while you are away.

The mattress in one of the rooms with balcony was terrible , very old,sicken in the middle and the springs made horrible noise with any slight movement
