Historic comfortable home in a perfect location in a terrific town. Walk over to Franny's Bistro for a wonderful dinner in an eclectic indoor/ outdoor space. We were about to book a tour with Camden Harbor Cruises, but had to depart early. We highly recommend this home, this town and the lobster tour / cruise we did not get to do.

Cozy cottage in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance to downtown restaurants and shops.

We had a great time at the cottage and a very relaxing stay. It was clean, had everything we needed, and was in a great location.

This house was spacious, air conditioned and provided many of the helpful start up necessities one needs when traveling. The washer and dryer were awesome since we were traveling with little kids. The to Camden was convenient. If Delta variant hadn’t been escalating we would have enjoyed many meals out at the local restaurants. There was still plenty to do outdoors. It is worth noting that this cottage is in close proximity to neighbors in a residential setting. If you are looking for ample space and a large deck this may not be the right setting for you. For us it was nice to be in town so we could walk to see family each day. The interior of the house, while spacious, had one major flaw. It was listed as no pets allowed but upon arrival we noticed pet hair everywhere. We contacted the owner who kindly gave us a 50% refund on the cleaning fee but we spent most of the stay sneezing and sweeping up pet hair. It was in the freshly made beds, windowsills, on baseboards, corners of rooms, etc. I would caution anyone with pet allergies to avoid staying here until the home has been properly cleaned. Overall the home was spacious for 4 people and conveniently located to downtown Camden, but it could use a good cleaning from a cleaning company.

Schooner Cottage was an A+ place to work remotely. It had what my husband & I needed, & more, including lovely old time decor & furnishings. With superior phone service & WiFi connections in the Camden area, the peace & quiet of this adorable neighborhood was unbeatable. Walks to town took just about five minutes: views of the harbor, culinary delights & bustling streets w really nice people & shops galore were a daily highlight. (The food around Camden was truly extraordinary-fish & egg special at Mariners & lobster stew at Waterfront were among my favorites.) Our son & his girlfriend came up & hiked local trails & enjoyed the restaurant scene in Camden as well. We loved the comforts of the cottage that included a memorable dining area, comfy couches two full beautifully tiled bathrooms & very comfortable beds. Looking out the window, over the kitchen sink, stirs one’s imagination of what transpired in & around homes & neighborhoods of this adorable coastal town through the years. Be sure to go to the Italian place around the corner, literally a hop, skip & jump away from this delightful cottage. We went over after supper one night- going out on a limb & ordering some things out of our comfort zone, we were amazed at how delish our selections were. I literally wanted to lick the plate~
