The accommodation was really well set up and resourced. Josef was great to chat to and gave good recommendations. Sitting in garden looking out over the stunning lake was amazing. We could cook and also enjoyed the activities around Halstatt.

Peaceful and fantastic location

This place is absolutely incredible. Josef lives upstairs and was very personable while also being respectful and unobtrusive. Wonderful stay!

The house is in a magical place, right on the shore of the lake, very quiet and pastoral. The atmosphere is wonderful. The owners are very nice and welcoming. It was unforgettable stay. Very highly recommended!

The location, the view and the facilities. Amazing host

Breakfast was not included but a Bakery was within a 5 minute walk away, and opened at 6 am. Also there was a small grocery store even closer. There was a coffee machine, a electric water kettle and napresso machine available at the property. As well as pots and pans and dishes and a wonderful stove and fridge, if you wanted to get some groceries a head of time.

There was nothing to not like

All of it - value, amazing views, running stream outside bedroom window, gracious host with intimate local knowledge, privacy, access to the lake, well appointed, walking distance to downtown. Thank you to Josef for making our 20th wedding anniversary a trip one to remember for all times.
