Everything! The proprietors are very skilled at what they do. They’ve thought of everything and made me feel instantaneously comfortable. I stayed in a single room with shared bathroom on a lower landing but it still felt very private - and they even provide a bathrobe, in case you need one. The food was excellent and I received lots of help and advice with various issues during my stay. A real home away from home.

Breakfast was fantastic. A bit late in the morning but manageable. Gina and Graham are fantastic hosts. Both know a lot of the area, what is best to climb, what to avoid, what are alternatives and what to look out for.

Graham and Gina are lovely hosts and made us feel really welcome. Harvington House is in an ideal position, it is only 5 minutes walk to the town centre. The B&B is exceptionally clean and breakfast is to a high standard. Graham's knowledge of the area is exceptional and he is more than happy to help you plan your day. Would definitely recommend.

The bed and pillows were a little hard for me but that is personal preference. The water pressure in the shower was poor, however we were at the top of the house which could explain it.

Excellent breakfast with lots of choice. Good location, just a few minutes walk from the centre of town. Hosts were very knowledgeable about the Lake District and recommended places to visit.

Fantastic breakfast, choice of what you wanted. Hosts very welcoming and friendly, very informative about the local walks, venues and how would be the best way to get to them, and if driving best parking areas for views and access. Could not be more caring as my wife had a sore hip and nothing was a problem for Graham and Gina, so once again thanks.

about the property - great location, cleanliness, rooms, views, set up, hospitality. our hosts Graham & Gina were absolutely amazing. they made us feel so at home from the off, they gave us such a warm welcome. they were extremely helpful with suggesting locations, bars, restaurants, views, routes & they could generally not have done enough. The food was delicious and really set us up for our busy days of exploring. I would highly recommend them to anyone visiting the lakes and looking for a homely, warm, accommodating place to stay. we will certainly be visiting again.

Nothing. It’s a gem. parking is on street and can get quite right so be confident with your reverse parking but there’s plenty around.

The full English was perfect every morning. Everything was spotless & the owners were lovely!

My toilet wasn't en suite so it was a bit of a trek to the toilet in the middle of the night!

The room was comfortable, well decorated, and very well cleaned. The breakfast was well cooked and presented. Owners were welcoming and very sociable. This was a very pleasant stay.

Harvington House is in a fabulous location 5 mins from the centre of Keswick. Its immaculately clean. The hosts can't do enough for you. Breakfast is amazing. Graham is a fountain of knowledge and gives advice on walks and is really interested on your plans for the day.

Our cheerful, friendly and charming hosts, Gina and Graham were wonderful! They were willing to help out in every way and were a fountain of knowledge about the area. The full English breakfast was delicious. Our room was spotlessly clean and very efficiently arranged. The location was excellent and allowed us four full days of fun activities without a car.

Our room, number 2, was fine for two people, but we noticed that the other rooms were quite small (but bright, perfectly clean and well organized).

Gosh, everything is great! The view from the room was stunning, the bedding was comfortable, the bathroom was well laid out, the whole room was small but very well arranged and had all the features we need. Gina's breakfast was perfect and we become big mushroom fans 🍄

I loved everything about the place. Especially Graham, I could tell, just a genuine nice person. In the day of age of really awful & disingenuous airbnbs, this traditional B & B breakfast was absolutely wonderful. And the breakfast was absolutely delicious. Experience of a 5 star hotel in the comfort and familiarity of home.
