We were a family of 4 (2 adults and 7 and 2 year old kids). We stayed 4 nights. We had a fantastic time and we all loved the property. Fun and cozy space to play, enjoy good meals and we all slept great. Also valued being 3 min from the center of town and yet very quiet and peaceful around us.

I liked this apartment. It's on the outskirts of Altstätten, a nice, small town, with a picturesque center within walking distance. The apartment is in a quiet street, parking is available and I found the apartment lovely and spacious. There's a nice outside space and it has everthing you would need. The house was build at the end of the 19th century and several of the old details have been kept, which adds to the charm. The hosts were nice and informative and gave several good recommendations of things to do nearby. There was some negative points, but overall I did enjoy my stay here and the area is truly beautiful!

I know the house is in the middle of nature on the outskirts of the town, but I was rather surprised we shared the apartment with a mouse or mice. The first night, a noise woke me up and when I went to check out what it was, I saw a mouse in the kitchen. A little while later, I noticed the little bugger (or his pal) on the other side of the room. I've grown up on the outskirts of a town, in a house which wasn't the most modern and we definitely had mice living in the attick, but in the 20+ years that I've lived there, I've never seen a mouse in the living areas. So that was a bit of a shocker, albeit not that strange due to the location of the place. Also, two minor things. There's a dishwasher, I just couldn't find tablets to be used and in the description on booking.com it says there's a bath, which isn't there. That might be a translation error though!

The accommodation was amazing and beautiful! Located at the pictoresque countryside, fully equipped and very comfortable. The owner was hospitable and the communication was easy. We regret that we were there only one night. We can highly reccommend it!!!
