very nice place if you want to relax. we stayed in 1-bedroom villa, the villa has everything you need

the pool in our villa was very small, I didn’t call it a pool to be honest. also I suggest the host to put mosquito nets on the windows as you are surrounded by nature and plants and there are a lot of insects

Noone welcomed us and it was the Christmas! Just the opposite: not very friendly and attractive local woman-farmer appeared immediately without notice to check the pool and to spy after us. Pay attention to it! The villa Calao was absolutely not like in the photos of Caserio de Guaza from the booking.com. Because it was another villa. The agency pillowabroad gives to rent many similar houses. The nice-looking villa from advertising calls Colonel. However, our house was shabby, dark, old-fashioned. Strong smell of canalisation outside the house in front of the kitchen and in the bathroom. One of the toilets was leaking. Many holes, scratches and rust in both bathrooms. Two first days we did not have water. A dirty washing machine, floor and walls in one of the bedrooms. No grass at all in the garden. Only stones. You cannot lock the door to the yard. Not good for this price. We were complaining to the pillowabroad agency and to the booking.com. No compromise. No refund. No reimbursement. We were really frustrated as for this money you can rent absolutely amazing accommodation in Tenerife. And we did it afterwards. We lived in 4 different places and it was not our first time here.

The environment is absolutely great: sorrounded by banana plants and oranges trees. The Villa is huge and very well furnished and decorated. The communication with Silvia was prompt and helpful.

The Villa was a bit barren: there was no blanket to stay outside when in the evening was cold, no trash bags, almost nothing for the dishwasher. Small things that make the place a bit cozier... Even leaving a bottle of water in the fridge would have been highly appreciated! Pool is small and not pre-heated

We rented El Callao. The house is spacious and beautiful. Beautiful big garden. Nice location. Friendly host (who we didn't meet, but who answered our questions quickly via WhatsApp). Would definitely recommend this place! The cons don't outweigh the pros!!!!

Especially in the kitchen there are lots of ants. I don't think there is much you can do about it, but you have to think about it when preparing food (don't leave anything on the kitchen counter after dinner etc). Not a huge problem for us. The house is attached to the neighbour's house and they have an outdoor shower. The weird thing is that the water from their shower flows onto your terrace. So when you walk around on your terrace you get wet feet from your neighbour's bathing water. There is a lot of privacy in that you can't see your neighbours and other people. However, we could hear every word from our neighbours when we were outside. One cleaning session during our 8 day stay would have been nice.
