I loved that we got a little snack, including sweets, coffee and fresh fruits! I also really liked the window between bedroom and bathroom wich made the room feel even bigger and brighter.

So glad we booked a room with a balcony - it was perfect to end the day with a glass of wine and start it with a small breakfast (and thank you for the breakfast options! Really appreciated!)

The staff were very helpful and pleasant. The little box of breakfast food was a nice touch.

we were in a downstairs room which was dark and felt damp. it was comfortable and a good size but noisy form the road and the space above. it was a quick walk into town but not to the bishops garden or the castle and the recommended restaurant was closed on the Monday and we struggled to find a decent place to eat. most the places in the main square were closed or really just bars. The second night we went to a place we found on TripAdvisor which was good .. it was a wine bar on the main square on the street not in the centre of the square which again is mainly bars.

Very clean and well kept. Quite different to a “chain” hotel.

Apart from a need for a plug in the bathroom sink to hold the water while shaving, everything else was good!

Property has a homely feel about it the moment you walk through the front door. Everything is clean, easy and stress free with a friendly person at reception to help you. It is conveniently situated, short walk to station with shops and restaurants nearby.
