You're right on top of the sea or that's how you feel. Great relaxing sea views and of the coastline east of castellammare. The kitchen is fully kitted and with a big fridge freezer so you can enjoy preparing your meals. It doesn't have a balcony but has floor to ceiling windows so you can still enjoy that outdoor sitting feeling or almost.

I drove to the place and the access streets are quite tight. Similarly the staircase is quite small. The beddings are old and torn, the bed needs better or decent pillows. You can't park outside but on a piazza nearby and there are limited spaces for €5 day or €1 hour.

Very nice location, close to town centre, restaurants and shops and the sea front. The best shower I have ever found in sicily with good water pressure. The kitchen is basic but adequate but we didn't cook other than to make coffee so can't really comment on that. The owner was helpful and accommadating, replying promptly to messages and quickly sending someone to fix the toilet when it stopped flushing. He allowed us to stay at the apartment as it was a Friday until we were ready to leave; we had a 9.40pm flight from palermo home. That was much appreciated.

No washing machine and very limited space to hang washing on the balcony to dry. But as only there for a week not a big problem. No dustpan and brush to keep floors clean. Found a very grubby broom in a cupboard outside the flat that was covered in hair and fluff that I was disinclined to use. No tea towels in the kitchen.

Great location, parking closely available, wide apartment. The host was friendly and very nice.

There were quite a few things that did not feel right: the holder for the shower head was broken; sheets were old and with stains, used water bottles in the fridge. I would suggest more attention to details to make it a perfect location
