This apartment was SO beautiful. It felt cozy, comfortable and was beautifully decorated. The street was charming, very well located. We could not have picked a better location and we felt we could've stayed for weeks. The host was very responsive and friendly, and had a lot of recommendations to share. Would definitely go again and will recommend to all my friends and family!

Really nice accomodation on a great location. Antonella was really helpfull during out stay! The apartments were really well equipped and decorated with a lot of care. Would recommend it to anyone!

The breakfast location across from Casa Versace at Padoca Do Carmo was very good, and the servers attentive, when the cafe was open. 2 out of the 3 days of our stay the cafe was simply closed. We are glad, we changed our minds about having breakfast delivered. Opening hours listed online are not accurate!! Since cafes in the area are only open at night in the Historic area -- my friend and I had to wait until we got in town to have breakfast. It was particularly inconvenient the last morning before our departure. We had to wait until we got in at the airport to have breakfast.

Though Antonella is super attentive and efficient -- she manages everything through rapid What's App communication from wherever she happens to be outside of Brazil, in Italy for example! It's not the quite the same by having an employee at the reception available-- I remember the days when Casa Versace used to have at least one employee at the reception itself who could assist in case of small emergencies such as air conditioning, and turning on the burners of the stove, for example.(One shouldn't have to rely exclusively on a manual). I also remember from previous stays that breakfast was served on site above floor. The change is probably due to Covid but I wish it were different given the paucity of restaurants nearby. It would have made the stay far more agreable.

Wonderful location, top host and comfortable place. The sea view balcony at the back was a great bonus!

the location of this property is unbeatable as it provides super easy access to the center whilst remaining residential. Antonella has great taste and decorated the apartment in a beautiful rustic European style. Everything works. There are restaurants all around, the street is mind blowing beautiful.

just a bit of mold smell, but hard to avoid in Brazil. Also, and this is only a tip: just note that if you are an early breakfast eater, the earliest you will be able to find food will be 8:30 and the café in front: which is beautiful and delicious. But just plan to buy basics if you need to eat earlier. Fridge gas, plates cups and cutlery are available so no problem.

Lovely stay at casa Versace! The host is very friendly. The rooms are big and have an authentic, beautiful style. Area is cute, old city centre, great place!

the location is very good, the balcony is nice and the building is authentic

the owner is not arranging and unpleasant. first, she was not physically present in Salvador (she was in Italy) and dealt with stuff from there, requiring us to call her at annoying times to accommodate the time difference. then, she was absolutely not arranging about keeping our luggage on the last day and he had to negotiate long via WhatsApp only for that? plus, her employee on site was cold and wanted to expedite every contact we had with her there was no hot water in the shower and the room was not particularly clean the description of the room on booking is not exact (we had no sheets for the sofa bed in the living room -> expect only two beds that are too hard to be comfortable) the house rules were particularly strict and unpleasant I would also like to add the message received from the owner after posting my feeling about the property on Booking.com and would like the next guests to pay closer attention to the other reviews that got a 1/10 and the owner's response to each of those reviews. Here is the message received: "I don't understand how you can be so bad. I don't understand how there are people like you who take pleasure in causing harm. It’s very sad to see people young like you that carry such a bad soul. You haven't slept in the middle of the street. We have satisfied your needs even for early check in and late check out and we only deserved a 1 that only causes us damage. Maybe you don't know but be careful to receive another report from an host and booking will take action. The host cannot leave reviews but can report you and of course I did it. I recommend you stay at home in your beautiful country instead of traveling around in the world hurting those who work honestly and hard. You are just spoiled kids!! The problem you are giving us we are feel on the skin. And I’m sorry I don’t wish you anything bad but also anything good. I’m sure life will teach you how to be respectful and lovely with others"

The bed is good.

The window of “sea view” room actually oversees a shared balcony. Other guests come by and stay, which forces the guest in the room to keep the curtains drawn to have any privacy (and then defeats the purpose the sea view). There is no arrangement or support to keep the luggage past check out (at most they’d keep it till 1pm). When I questioned this, the owner acted as if it were a strange request, showing complete lack of understanding for the experience of the guest in a city full of hills and of crime (I was robbed in front of the property). There is not even a half length mirror in the room.

Casa Versace is located in a beautiful street in the old town. We felt very save and there. The interior of the apartment was very tasty and comfortable. Restaurants and bars are close. Antonella, our host was caring about us very well and was flexible also about the check-out timing. She also had good recommendations for all kind of interests. We can fully recommend Casa Versace as your home in Salvador

Location, location, location.... room greta is pretty big. Missing some luxury details to justify the price. Better linens, better towels and amenities were lacking.

We loved the beautifully renovated traditional house, its views, terrace and central location. Our host, Antonella, went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed and to recommend places and restaurants. We particularly loved the breakfast place, the restaurant opposite and another, an Uber ride away. We would highly recommend Casa Versace's apartments.
