Amazing Villa with everything you need. The pool was awesome. Fitness Studio, Sauna, ....everything. well equipped kitchen. The village is super nice and calme. People are super friendly and the food is fantastic. On top of that we had the pleasure to get to know to Giorgos, our contact person from the villa. He was super .Always available on short notice in case we wanted to have a recommendation for a trip or a Restaurant. This is really 5star service and makes the difference. We will come again.

Nothing to complain

Sehr saubere und große Zimmer. Schönes Ambiente vom Haus. Gute und moderne Ausstattung. War top. Falls es auch Fragen oder Bitten gab, hat man immer sehr schnell eine Antwort bekommen.

Nichts.

The house is very modern and the interior is beautifully designed. The house has several terraces from which you can watch the sunset. It also offers a barbecue. The neighborhood is calm and quiet. The house is located in a small - non touristic - village. It has a few restaurants which serve delicious food to enjoy among locals. There is also a bus that goes from the center of the village to Knossos and Heraklion. Upon our arrival we were greeted by the respective contact person and as we arrived late, they made sure that we had some food in the fridge, water and two bottles of wine. Everything went smoothly and we could always contact someone if we had questions or needed any suggestions - we usually received a reply within the hour.

The only downside is that the house is facing East, so at 3 or 4 p.m. in the afternoon the sun begins to set behind the house, so the pool is among the shades and there is no sunlight in front of the house (on the patio and pool). Since the house is in a local village, it is rather hard to find at first - but our contact person supplied us with detailed directions to the house, so we found it very quickly.

Giorgos met us around 1:30a.m. due to our flights being delayed and then having to deal with the rental car company after hours. He went above and beyond to make us feel at home and welcome during our stay and also suggested a local taverna to eat at in Skalani. It was a great suggestion on those late nights back to the house and my husband was still hungry!

The only thing that could have been better was an extra trash can in the bathrooms other than the ones by the toilets/separate washroom, for items we needed to throw away. Other than that small detail, the house and all amenities, etc. were AMAZING! Also, it's not something we didn't like, but wanted to let people know if you rent a car, be sure it's nothing too large or it won't get up the driveway, as it's quite narrow! We had a 4 door Toyota Hatchback and it was perfect, but for a family of 5, and needing a taxi on departure to take most of our luggage to the airport, they had to wait on the street and the luggage had to be rolled down to the car, which the driver did happily, but I felt bad because it was a little hike that he gladly took care of. Again nothing was wrong, nor was there anything we didn't like. I simply want to let people know about this when coming to the beautiful island of Crete and considering this amazing property!
