This was our first time in Valencia and the location of this apartment was outstanding - right in the middle of the old city. Being on the top floor, the view from the windows and especially the deck were fantastic and we loved it. The whole place was great for our needs. It was clean and comfortable. The kitchen is really small but we didn't cook there, so it met our needs. The 'main' bedroom is up a flight of spiral stairs which might be an issue for some. We didn't use the downstairs bedroom (which has separate smaller beds), but the upstairs bed was very comfortable. The deck is rather sloped (it is technically a roof top) so might make some a bit nervous but has a wall at the edge (so safe!) and two very nice chairs. We really enjoyed sitting out there at night. It should be noted that the apartment is at the top of several steep flights of stairs and there is no elevator. We were prepared for that (although it was quite the climb) and it was fine for us. The owner was great and very responsive... everything was smooth with check-in/out. We'd gladly stay there again!

This apartment was amazing. The interior was incredibly beautiful, unique, clean, and well-stocked. The location was amazing. Very walkable to dining and shopping, as well as the historic cathedrals you can see right from the windows and roof terrace. You can definitely hear the night life through the night, but that is the nature of such a convenient location. There are many stairs, so be prepared to climb! The host was so helpful in recommending places in the area and providing useful information as a local. He also was very helpful in scheduling our taxi to and from the apartment when our phones wouldn't work and responded very quickly! This was my favorite stay out of four hotels/apartments we visited in Spain- I highly recommend!

This beautiful apartment is perfectly situated in the heart of Old Town in beautiful Valencia. The space is well thought out with everything we needed, including nice touches of complimentary wine and Valencia oranges. The owner, Juan, has a gift for decorating, and he was easy to communicate with, responsive and helpful. Because it is an attic unit that includes a beautiful little balcony with a great view of Valencia Cathedral Bell Tower, it does include 67 steps to get to, so would not be suitable for older or less physically fit guests, but we loved it. We use VRBO for almost all our travel and this was one of the best places we have ever stayed at. Highly recommend!

This was a great place for our family of 4. Juan is a great host. The property was just as expected from the photos and is in a great location to explore the old city.

I highly recommend this property : very convenient location in the heart of the city, very cosy, rooftop with a beautiful view ! The only thing to know is that this is on the 4th floor without elevator, even if it was not a problem for us. Juan was also very reactive when communicating with us and shared a lot of good advice for our stay.

Juan was a wonderful host. Very easy to contact if we were to have problems or questions; which we didn’t. The apartment was comfortable and had everything we needed. It is a 5 minute walk to the Serrano Tower and the park along the River Turia…one of our favourite destinations. Everything you need (restaurants, bike/scooter rental shops, Valencia market) is nearby. Although there were many steps going up to the 4th floor apartment, this did not present a problem for us (in our 60’s); the added exercise allows you to have an extra tapa! :)

Right in the middle of the old city, this place made us feel quite special. It is carefully presented with lots of nice touches, is full of character and very comfortable.

Die Stiege dorthin ist zwar schmal und steil aber der Ausblick ist wunderschön. Die Wohnung ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und auch Juan war sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Empfehlenswert.

Fijn appartement. WE waren met onze oudste volwassen dochter. De ruimte geeft voldoende privacy. Goed uitzicht, met een buitenplaatsje. Helaas is het niet mogelijk daar een tafel neer te zetten (schuin aflopend). Comfortabel ingericht en ook prima om zelf diner klaar te maken

Klar, die 67 Stufen hinauf zur Wohnung sind schon anstrengend, und abends kann es auch mal lauter werden durch die Bar unten am Platz, aber der Ausblick über die Dächer auf die Kathedrale und die Lage in der Altstadt sind für uns einfach wunderbar gewesen!

Really central location and the property was excellent. Great views from the roof terrace and bedroom windows. Everything we required was within the property. We will definitely be returning here

Juan’s apartment is perfectly located for exploring the old city. It’s spacious and the perfect retreat in the heat of the day or for enjoying a glass of wine on the roof. Our only regret is not staying longer.

This is a wonderful, charming and very comfortable apartment right in the historic district. Very nicely decorated and equipped with everything we needed. Lots of space! Rooftop terrace is lovely. The host Juan was there to meet us and provided great suggestions for touring. Highly recommend this property!

This apartment was very comfortable for the 4 of us. We loved being able to watch the fireworks and burning at the Fallas festival from the comfort of the rooftop patio! The 4 flights of stairs up to the apartment were small and at the end of a long day of walking could be a challenge, but it was worth it to stay in this perfect little apartment. The location was fantastic! We loved Valencia and really enjoyed the charm of this cozy apartment.

Terrific and unique place in the original section of Valencia. We were 4 adults and there was plenty of room in the 2 bedrooms and living room / kitchen common area. Star gazing on the roof top terrace was enjoyed both evenings by my brother in-law and myself, this with a nice glass of Spanish wine. Juan was an excellent host and very responsive to all of our enquiries. We also appreciate the insights which were provided including sights and areas to see and restaurants to enjoy - we did! As noted in other reviews, the apartment is up 4 flights of narrow and steep stairs. We would absolutely stay here again, however would pack differently - going upstairs with 23KG suitcases provided a good workout, thankfully Juan welcomed us and without hesitation was a great help on the ascent - thank you! Everything in the apartment was as our better than pictures show. The clothes washer was great as we were a few weeks into a several week adventure. We used the hop-on-hop-off bus to get a sense of the city, I would encourage this for sure. The old tour is great and we also explored some of the newer areas including the aquarium (largest in Europe). The beach area is also a good visit and the site of the F1 and Americas Cup sailing race. Great to see! Valencia is a city we would return (so many more to see!) and we would absolutely recommend this property which will contribute to your experience. Thank you again Juan. M&J

Great stay, lovely apartment.

We lloved Valencia. This apartment is close to the Central Mercado, bars and restaurants and Flamenco shows. It’s a tram ride away from the beach. The property has everything.you need for your stay.

This eclectic apartment is located in the heart of the old town. A great place to explore Valencia and the surrounding area. Juan was a fabulous host who couldn't have been more helpful.

The property is very charming and well equipped. Right where u want to stay to see the old buildings of València. There are stairs to climb to get to the unit but it makes for good exercise everyday. Would recommend to stay at this unit.

Fantastic stay in this beautiful appartment. All of the old town in easy walking distance; the central market, main churches and plazas all within a couple of blocks and a great mix of restaurants just out the front door. For wider exploration, two doors down there is bike and moped hire. And it's a beautiful cycle down through Turia riverbed park to Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias and onto the beach. Or valencias central train station is an easy 20 minute walk to catch trains or hire a car for regional exploration. But above all Juan made this stay and deserves such a huge Thank you! Going out of his way at every opportunity. Helping to accommodate our awkward travel hours, providing great tips, and even coming to our rescue in the middle of the night when we locked ourselves out of the apartment. An incredible host! Perfect, cozy apartment for my family of 4 centrally located in the North Ciutat Vella. Two minutes walk from the stunning La Catedral and a short five minute walk from the Mercat Cental where boundless culinary delights overwhelm the senses. Great street art, amzaing food at every turn and steps away from the ever lively Plaza Negrito. Highly recommend to the hearty traveler (fourth floor walk-up) who loves to wander through twisting streets lined with great boutiques, bars and restaurants and be close to the highlights of the old part of Valencia including some great museums, plazas and parks.

It’s right in the heart of the cathedral district, so really handy for bars and restaurants. Just a short walk to Turia Park too. It was beautifully clean and had everything we needed

Great location, great apartment.

We loved our week here. The apartment was clean and the neighborhood is completely safe. The location is perfect. A couple minute walk to the Basillica, Tower, Central Market and dozens upon dozens of small restaurants. All the amenities were in good working condition and we used the small patio daily. The fourth floor location requires stair climbing but the view of the bell on the tower was worth it. Highlights of our trip included the boutique restaurants, the central market, people watching in the Cathedral Square, climbing the Tower, touring the Basilica, shopping, walking to and visiting the Oceanographic and the Playa de Saler and Playa de Cullera and hiking near the town of Chulilla. Thank you Juan, one of our best vacations ever!

One small complaint-- left the windows open for the nice breeze the first night & the noise from the plaza below was unbelievably loud and none of the family could sleep. But after that shut the windows & used the AC & slept beautifully! Great place, loved it!

The apartment is beautifully appointed, centrally located, and well taken care of. It has all the necessities for an extended stay in the city and Juan is very welcoming and helpful for both information about the city and with any concerns. All of the major attractions are within easy walking distance and the apartment is located in a fun, safe, and clean area. I would definitely return. Thanks for the great visit!
