The property gave us easy access to the beach, restaurants, grocery store, and fun activities. A major plus is the private area on the beach just for the patrons of Crystal Dunes. Also, we really liked the well stocked kitchen, having 2 elevators, and the team of workers that cleaned the property every morning. The only negative was that signs around Crystal Dunes say it is a smoke free property but there seemed to a bit of a very faint smoke smell inside this unit. Not a deal breaker since half of the family could not smell it but definitely glad to have the allergy meds for the other half. We enjoyed our trip to Destin and will definitely return!!

We really enjoyed our stay at Crystal Dunes 505 ~ love the decorations of the beach theme ~ keyless entry is an awesome feature ~ love that there is an ALEXA, nice having music ~ comfy beds ~ Camilles Restaurant that opens at 5pm is AWESOME... short walk across the street ~ love having the 2 beach chairs & umbrella beach service ~ LOVE that it is a NON smoking beach condo ~ nice and roomy ~ also love not having to wear a wrist band ~ private beach was awesome ~ 😎🌞⛱️

TV's in the rooms worked, also internet issues but wasn't a big deal as we were not in the room much. Location is awesome, so easy getting to the beach and pool and everything local in Destin. Without a doubt would recommend this place and will be back.

We loved having two complimentary beach chairs with an umbrella reserved for us by the water everyday. The condo is very conveniently located. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall the room was just ok. The apartment had a mildew order when we arrived, I'm glad I bought air freshener. In addition it was freezing in the apartment. I was hoping for more updated appliances i.e. keurig machine. The one thing that was the worse was the bathroom for the bunk beds it was extremely dangerous, the shower was not usable because the doors were not stable at all. I'm so glad we didn't have children with us because I would definitely have not let them use that tub/shower. I almost fell because of the doors and there should be some type of grippers in the tub. We did love the location as it was close to a lot of good restaurants and close to the beach. There were 3 couples and we all paid an equal amount for the stay I think it would have been fair to have a beach setup for each couple that's my recommendation also being that the pool area doesn't get much sun the pool needs to be heated because it was freezing. For wifi it needs to be written somewhere in the condo because what we were shown was totally different than what we eventually found out after calling customer service. If I had a choice I would not return to this location nor would I recommend it to anyone.

Some items/fixtures are a bit dated and there are minor issues (e.g., the patio door doesn't lock; a toilet paper holder being loose and not properly secured to the wall). The biggest issue was that the skillets were very scratched and way past their prime. It would be nice if the owner invested in just 2-3 new skillets/pans. Otherwise, the kitchen was surprisingly well stocked. Overall, a nice unit.

We’ve loved loved loved this condo for the past two years that we’re already booked for 2023. I can’t possibly think of a better place to vacation.

Condo was just as pictured! Perfect location. Wish we had access to extra towels as we had one each and we were there a week. Will definitely book again in the future.

Condo was clean ! Beach views were amazing and close to restaurants, shopping and more. One of our best stays in Destin yet. I would say the only negative would be is not having an ice machine handy on site but that’s not a deal breaker.

The unit was the biggest we have stayed in in this building for a comparable price. Very very clean. Stocked with pool toys, beach toys, beach chairs. Easy checkin and check out.

Great small complex and very clean. We were on a bachelorette trip with 8 of us. Security was super friendly and nice. Never felt unsafe and in a great area! Views of beach were great, although it rained most of our time but I would definitely go back.

Unit was very clean! Entire complex could use updating/upgrades in pool and other common areas. This unit was older but still clean and comfortable. We have stayed in several rentals like this through the years and I would say this one was the least stocked. No extra trash bags, paper towels, laundry soap, no beach towels at all.

Exactly as advertised. Clean. Spacious. Beautiful view. The included beach chair setup was very nice. Close to grocery and all the restaurants. Highly recommend!

Great functional set up for everything beach and sunset gazing. Layout of the unit accommodates families and separation for different activities. Plenty of space for small families or groups, patio with beach overlook captures both sunrise and sunset. Amazing sugary sand.
