Great location, plenty of space, very comfortable and any amenity you would need

Home was beautiful and in a great location. We had the beauty of the mountains without having a steep driveway and winding roads into the home. Everything was very nicely decorated and very comfortable.

This home was everything we could have asked for. We were checked on via text shortly after arriving. The home was a perfect getaway. Kitchen was well stocked and it was easy to get to. The road leading to the house is steep, so it may be challenging if the roads freezes, but hopefully they salt ahead of time. The only con was the water pressure in the master shower. Everyone ended up bathing in the upstairs bathroom because the shower wasn’t working well. We did not call anyone about it since our trip was so short. Would definitely stay there again. Super close to Sugar Mountain (5 minutes or less).

It’s a beautiful property, but the people that clean need training. If you have allergies it’s not the property for you the dust is bad on the blinds, under all furniture, on all lights the air filter needs to be changed, the oven top was dirty and the sheets in the downstairs bedroom were not changed! I have pictures! The dryer did not work They sent out a person to look at it and it was looked at by two different people but it still did not work both people tried to help but were not able to fix it! I think a new one is needed! As I said we made it work because I cleaned what we needed. The house is beautiful with beautiful views and had absolutely beautiful decorations. I hope the owners see this message so they can make changes to the cleaning crew! The manager on this property was very nice on the phone and tried to help with the dryer but it would not heat to dry the clothes. I will rent this property in the future to see if they will change anything in the way things are cleaned! One more thing the trash bin outside on the deck had dirty dipper’s stuck on the bottom of the can it smelled horrible some one needs to clean that trash bin it looks like it been dirty for a lone time!

We enjoyed our time in Banner Elk so much! The home was clean, well stocked, & so cozy. It made transitioning into our vacation smooth!

Our family of 7 LOVED our stay at Elk Creek Hideaway. From the moment we pulled into the driveway, we felt so welcome. It was late and very dark. The front door was lit with a Chrismas wreath and we could see the lit Christmas tree through the windows. There were also candles glowing as we entered the cabin. So cozy and inviting. The cabin was spacious, beautifully decorated and well stocked. So many "extras", such as games tucked in the great room coffee table, cute Christmas tree on back porch to accent the great furniture and arrangement out there, a supply of seasonal placemats in the dining area, extra blankets, an extra small bonus room with extra twin beds (we didn't use, but how nice if needed!), and the list goes on and on. Location was perfect! Boone, Grandfather Mountain, Blowing Rock were all just minutes away. BEAUTIFUL Views from the backporch of Grandfather Mt. and Sugar Mt. and from the front porch, Beech Mt. We cut our own Christmas tree on the way out of town at one of the local Christmas tree farms. We can't say enough good things about this cabin. Just perfect!

Renting was easy. The rental property was just as described and the property managers were awesome to work with. They were on top of every request.

The cabin and location were great. There were a few issues….washer leaks in the floor, dryer does not dry clothes and there was hair in one of the beds.

My family and I came into town for the weekend to attend the woolly worm festival. Had a great time and the accommodations were outstanding. Really enjoyed the spacious living space. We had an amazing time.

This was the perfect place for our family. What a great home and not too far off the road but you felt like you were really away. I especially love the comforts of home and the beautiful artwork on the walls. I love the books available to read and all the special comforts from the bed to the couches! We had a great time!

We really loved our stay at Elk Creek Hideaway. It was nicely furnished and stocked with anything you might need. It was very private and quiet. Convenient location. I hoped yo stay there again soon! Thank you to the owners for sharing your peaceful retreat!

The cabin was everything that we hoped for and more. I loved all the feel of the outdoors and spaciousness. My children absolutely loved the scenic view and wanted to stay another day. We will certainly book again and we are thinking about the Fall. Big plus everyone in Banner Elk were so nice.

This was an AWESOME place to stay! Close to LMC & downtown. We would stay here again hands down!!! 5 Stars PLUS!!!

Cleaning service leaves something to be desired- nasty dusty air vents, dust under chairs, trash pieces found in almost every room- garbage can outside was full when we arrived and no garbage bags

This location is super convenient for those skiing at Sugar Mountain. The cabin looked exactly like the photos and was perfect for my family! I would recommend staying here for sure and plan on returning next year!

House is in a great location for skiing. It is a few minutes to Sugar Mountain and just a few minutes from the turn to go up to Beech mountain. You do not need 4wd to access the house during or after it snows. The drive area was plowed and salted after both times it snowed. Very nice. The house itself is very nice and spacious with plenty of seating. Bedrooms were nice and kitchen was well equipped. Overall very happy with this rental.

Our family had a lovely stay at Banner Elk. Beautiful house and view to match. Cute little town to explore.

Very spacious and cozy. It was very nice and I can’t think of any major complaints except the shower in the master bathroom leaks a lot but other than that this is the perfect vacation home. We absolutely loved it and had a blast here. It was also very welcoming and upon arrival everything was cleaned extremely well.

Clean, spacious and perfect for our stay. We enjoyed the stay with my daughter and her two kids - lovely hikes and great meals in Banner elk - kitchen had everything we needed and more :)

It is close to everything, it is fully equipped and has things that none else has like even monitors for virtual learning if you want. Lots of space and very comfortable. All you can think of is available. We had a great stay, We loved it.

We really enjoyed this home and its location. We have visited many rental homes in the Carolinas and this was by far the most well stocked with supplies. Everything was clean, updated, and in working order. Felt very private but near everything we needed. We had a great time. Thank you

The renting process was easy and the house was ready when we got there.

We had a great time staying at this townhome. We were pleasantly surprised by the amount of food options near the house. Check-in process was very smooth, and house was MUCH larger than we had probably expected. We enjoyed playing several games of chess in the living room by the fireplace at night and hanging out on the back porch during the day. Beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was incredibly well stocked (which was a pleasant surprise).

Loved this home ! It has plenty of space with a great layout. We were very comfortable. It felt like home. Also, it is located close to shopping, dining and tourist attractions.

We love this hideaway! Not only is it big enough for a crowd, It is very well decorated and cozy. It is also in a great spot 5 mins from Sugar Mountain and downtown Banner Elk, and 15- 20 mins to Boone. I highly recommend this rental.
