The property is very nicely maintained, plenty of quality dishes, pots and pans, beautiful kitchen, great hot tub. Close to trails and the golf course. We had a minor issue where we got locked out in error, and the owner quickly resolved it for us. We would definitely stay again.

This place was exactly as indicated and very spacious. The location was nice, just a short drive to downtown truckee and the kitchen was stocked with everything needed for a big group. Very cozy cabin feel here.

My family and I had a lovely time at Michael's property. The home was spacious and nicely furnished. We especially loved the view of the golf course from the living room and deck. Another great feature was how organized the kitchen was with all the drawers and cabinets labeled so one didn't have to go rummaging through drawers to fine something. The WiFi was outstanding. Michael told us of the issue with the garbage pickup and how to work around it. He was responsive to any questions we had. We hope to return for another stay in this great house. Frances

We enjoyed our stay in this Tahoe Donner cabin. Great location in this area. The golf course views were relaxing and beautiful. The home is clean and truly stocked with everything you need. We were 2 families with grandparents, and we all had our personal space and didn’t fill on top of each other. Great dining table. The description for this home was accurate.

Property was in a great location. Came in for a destination wedding and property had everything we needed for our stay.

I brought a group of eight adults here for four nights in March 2023 for a ski trip. The house appears to be relatively recently built and has been well-maintained. We liked the ease of communication with the host by text/ phone, convenient location, the cleanliness, the comfortable bedrooms, the ease of entry and exit, large common areas, the large and well-equipped (with labels!) kitchen, good wi-fi, the gas fireplace in the living room, and the hot tub. The snow clearing—no doubt a difficult task during this record winter—was adequate, but we had some snow clearing to do ourselves near the main entrance and to clear the “ice maze” connecting the house to the hot tub (the journey was a challenge, and some of us refused to take it, but it was ok for our more reckless types). More importantly, we were able to get both of our cars into and out of the driveway without issue. The huge mounds of snow hanging off the roof were a bit scary but I did not have to report avalanches. We had to buy a battery for the ceiling fan remote, but the host reimbursed us quickly so it was just a minor inconvenience. Overall this property was great for a quick ski trip and I can recommend it to anyone.

Our family just completed a short stay at this lovely home. A great location on a golf course fairway in Tahoe Donner. Well appointed kitchen and great gathering spaces for a group of 12. All guests were comfortable and enjoyed this family gathering. A great choice for your getaway to charming Truckee.

I stayed here with my Soroptimist club for our annual board retreat. We had a great time and the cabin was perfect for our planning meeting. We were all very comfortable.

Enjoyed the cabin. Was a big plus to have everything so well organized and labeled in the kitchen and spices etc available. Kitchen was nice and big and the rooms were plenty spacious as well. Got to use the hot tub a few times as well and enjoyed sitting out under the stars.

We have stayed in several Vrbo cabins and this one by far had the best floor plan of all. Very spacious and comfortable. The kitchen is big and very well stocked. We would definitely stay here again!

The property is well situated for visiting Reno, Lake Tahoe, Donner Lake and Donner Pass areas. Excellent hiking is near by. The setting adjacent to the golf course provides for a restful, scenic environment. The house easily accommodated our family of children, parents and grandparents. Having one bedroom on the first floor with just a coupe of steps to get into the house was extremely beneficial. Being able to stay here made our family's trip enjoyable.

My family came here for a long weekend in the snow—four adults, four kids (ages 4-12), and one dog. The house was clean and the kitchen was well-stocked. The bedrooms were comfortable and everyone had more than enough space. Will definitely rent again!!

We loved staying at the Tahoe Donner property! The house was everything we hoped and more. Despite the heavy snow prior to our stay, the hot tub had been cleared and was accessible for use and the driveway cleared, which we very much appreciated. We loved the cleanliness of the house, the variety of bedroom combinations which allowed the kids to bunk together and the responsiveness of Micheal, the owner, when we had questions during our stay. We would absolutely love to stay here again in the future!

Hello Michael, your house is a excellant piece of property. I cook and golf, so the kitchen and the patio view was awesome. Plenty of room for the family to spread out and enjoy stories. We had one casualty, I pulled out the plastic chair under the deck for sitting, it looked weathered, probably why under the patio, and soon after someone sat in it and the chair collapsed to the ground. Otherwise than that mishap the family enjoyed the reunion. Thank you, Steve

This is an annual trip to Donner Lake with the family. We really enjoyed the home. It has everything you need and is located in a quiet neighborhood by a golf course. The host, Michael, was very helpful and answered all of our questions. The home is really beautiful and it accommodated everyone in the family. We had plenty of space to be together and at the same time had lots of options for quiet times. Highly recommend staying here!

Our group of 12 including three families enjoyed our visit to Tahoe/Donner. The house is spacious and well-equipped. Clean and had one of the best equipped kitchens that we have stayed in (we have done these trips last 9 years) with drawers labeled. When we had questions for the owner they were answered quickly and included important information (like bring beach towels as they are not provided). Location of the house is great and central to Tahoe Donner amenities (fitness center, store, restaurant, etc. within a mile). Thanks for helping us have a great vacation!
