This place had everything we needed and more. There were many times when we said 'Wow, they have a...'. The walk to the beach and downtown was super close. Communication with Sheila was smooth. Would definitely stay again.

Another Fabulous week at Sheila’s Beautiful Beach House!! This was our second year renting from Sheila, soon to be third, we could not ask for a better place to enjoy York Beach. The house is in walking distance to the beach, restaurants & shops. Our two families have rented for the past 16 years in York Beach so we are thrilled that we found this gem that provides a comfortable space for all ten of us to relax. Sheila is a Wonderful Host & thinks of everything to make your stay Fabulous.

This rental has everything you need for a family vacation at the beach. Amazing location!! Just steps away from Short Sands beach and Long Sands is a short drive away. Sheila is a warm and welcoming host and her rental has so much space to spread out. It’s extremely clean and cozy and fully stocked, including all the beach essentials you’ll need for your stay. You’re also just steps away from all the cute little shops, restaurants and arcade. Highly recommend Sheila’s rental. My family made some amazing memories on this trip that will last a lifetime!

We loved this property. Very clean lots of room for my family. 6 Adults, two 3 yr olds and 1 yr old. Plenty of parking for our 3 cars. We parked our cars and never needed to used them again all week. Shorts sands beach is about 100 yds , we were about 5 houses from the town shops and restaurants. Also the zoo is right in town. My grandsons loved the zoo. We make our way to York beach a few times every summer. We love the area and were looking for a place close to Short Sands and accommodating for 10-12 people. Sheila's home nailed it! The driveway is right off main street with plenty of room for 2-3 cars. Downtown and the beach is a quick 5 minute walk. Close enough to the beach, yet far enough away to be quiet and quaint when at the house. Sheila was very easy to communicate with. Check-In and Check-Out was contactless and easy. The townhouse is bigger that it looks in the pictures. There is plenty of room for large groups. It was very clean and had everything we needed. We did not have kids with us, but it we did there is a lot there for them. Games, toys, books, movies, beach toys. We really enjoyed this home and hope to be back again!

Great location; close to main street and beach. Park my car on Saturday and never moved until the following Friday. Able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. Hope to be back next year.

The house was amazing. Sheila made the whole process easy. She responded to all my questions within hours. The house was clean, close to the beach, and full of so many extra perks. There were tons of kid toys, books, and movies. The house is well stocked with kitchen items and linens. There was plenty of room for our whole family. We will definitely stay again!

The house was wonderful! It was spacious enough for 2 families total of 8 people and you could probably and another family! It was a 5min walk to the beach/shops and zoo! They had everything we needed for our stay. The only complaint we had was that the bed were hard and a bit uncomfortable. But the house was great and we had a wonderful time!!!!

Sheila's home was perfect for our stay. The townhouse style allowed the families to each have their own space while still being together. The location is perfect; walkable to the downtown area and beach. We brought our own beach gear, but Sheila had a selection for visitors to grab a chair and walk to the beach. We had one small maintenance hiccup and Sheila's response time and the response time of her vendor was impeccable. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We spent a week vacation with our two children, four grandchildren, daughter-in-law and son-in-law at this lovely townhouse in July. It was everything that it stated in the description. We found the townhouse immaculate and well appointed with everything you would need. Sheila could not have been nicer and was always available if we had any questions. Great place.

We had a family wedding in York. The venue was less then two blocks away. We have semi adult kids 18-24 yrs old & my sister-in-law the same (23-29 yrs). The 2 families fit perfectly. Those that went up Friday night played games & hung out in the townhouse, it was cozy & clean. Lots of bathrooms to get ready for the wedding in on Saturday. We had time in between the church & reception and it was perfect being so close to the little town. We were able change & explore, there’s so much activity walking distance. The place was just what we hoped, really met our need! Easy to clean up & be out on Sunday but owner didn’t rush us since the next ppl weren’t expected until later. Easy check in (code). Just what we hoped since we were squeezing a really special niece’s wedding in between our daughter’s graduation ceremony on Friday night & her grad party on Sunday. Exactly the no fuss experience we needed!

My family stayed here in mid August and it was the PERFECT vacation spot. This is a beautiful home with ample space for everyone. There were 9 of us staying together and at no time did we ever feel cramped or uncomfortable. The bedrooms and common areas are spacious, the water pressure was great, and the AC was a godsend on a muggy summer night. I was a bit concerned that, this being a duplex, the family next door might be noisy, but we hardly heard them at all during our stay, and they looked to have a party nearly as big as ours. The kitchen is well stocked with plenty of pots and pans for cooking, and there are lots of books and games as well, perfect for any rainy days during your stay. The garage even has a bunch of chairs, toys and games that you can take to the beach. Speaking of the beach, this house is less than 5 minutes away from Short Sands, and everything it has to offer, including the arcade, bowling alley, seafood takeout, ice cream and more. It was an easy walk to the amusement park and zoo as well, and a quick trolley ride to Long Sands. So if you’re looking for a place to stay in York, you can’t go wrong choosing this house.

The Townhouse location is perfect for walking distance to the beach and shops in downtown, you are right at the hub of activity. We had 9 guest staying in the townhouse five adults and four kids and with the four bathrooms and four bedrooms we had more than enough room. The kids used the playroom and a couple of the adults would nap down there as well. The Townhouse offered more than you could of imagine, it was just like being home away from home. They offered everything that you would need in a kitchen, Bathroom & Bedrooms and even so called a "Junk Drawer" which is not junk things like scissors, pads & pencils. We took our bicycle's with us and it was perfect for riding around York with them, and the best part was we could lock them up at night in the garage. The garage had everything you needed also from beach chairs, boogie boards, beach umbrella. The Townhouse also offered a washer/dryer which included laundry detergent and all other cleaning agents. The Central Air was a pleasure to have when we needed it during our stay. We could not believe how clean the utensils, glasses & ect. were and the entire Townhouse as well, not to mention how quiet it was with our neighbors on the other side of the wall. I would highly recommend this townhouse to anyone that was looking to vacation in York, ME. The Blackak's

We had a great time during our stay. The house was very spacious and our interaction with the owner was so easy!

Four adults, two grandparents and six children ages 11-1 year. Plenty of together space as well as privacy areas. Very convenient location to center & short sands beach; we also walked to long sands beach. Not much yard for kids but playground close by. Had everything we needed; kitchen very well equipped. Garage a plus for bike storage & beach wagons.

Stayed here for a girls weekend getaway and had a fabulous time. The home is beautiful. Super clean, tons of room for everyone and the location can not be beat! Minutes walk away from the beach, shops and restaurants. Everything you need for a comfortable stay is already there. You truly could not find a better place to stay. Looking forward to staying again in the future!

I recently stayed at this property for a girls' weekend and would definitely recommend it! The beach, restaurants, cafes, and shops were all within walking distance. If you want to explore outside of York, Ogunquit is just a short drive away (we saw a great show at the Ogunquit Playhouse). The condo itself is very spacious, clean, well appointed and inviting so even staying in is enjoyable. Nice kitchen and bathrooms as well as comfortable beds. I wouldn't hesitate to return.

Most excellent vacation spot for York, Maine. Can't say enough about the location and cleanliness of the house. We are looking forward to next year if our vacation schedule permits.

Our family booked this townhouse for our summer vacation with 8 adults, two 4 year-olds, a 14 month old and a 9 month old. The attraction was that it was 4 bedrooms with 4 bathrooms and within two blocks to Short Sands Beach and the village center. The townhouse was in a perfect location as advertised, had all the amenities that any family could need or want for a beach vacation. The house is up to date and in great condition, and came with everything you would need for a large family gathering. The house is very well constructed, as we did not hear the family in the adjacent townhouse and they said they did not hear us, which I found hard to believe. Everything was in working order, move and move out were a breeze, the owners were very easy to work with throughout the process, and I have already received my security deposit back. I would absolutely rent this townhouse again in the future.

This townhouse was amazing! You would not know this was a townhouse on the inside, we did not hear the neighbors at all and 3 separate floors made it so nice to have privacy between guests. We had 2 families with a party of 10 and their is more than enough space to sleep in spacious rooms. We loved having 4 bathrooms and they were very clean! Sheila the owner was very nice and decorated the whole house nicely and added all the extras that you could think of needing like dvds, cds, powerstips, fans, magazines, kitchen fully stocked with supplies, etc. So close to walk to beach and all the shops and restaurants. What a lovely beach house within walking distance to family friendly, York Beach. We loved our stay and loved the easy access to the quaint, little town; Lots of great restaurants and shops. The beach house was perfect for a party of 8 but would be just as comfortable with 12. Great kitchen with everything you would need to cook at home. All in all...a perfect place for a family gathering fully stocked with fun games for all ages.
