Location is lovely, excellent view over the river. Very good Public transport links across river. Underground access provided safe access to wellness area. Staff were very nice and helpful.

The food was very expensive however it was fantastic.

Frukosten var helt suverän, riktigt bra och mycket att välja på. Utsikten ifrån mitt rum var också helt fantastisk och det var stora fina rum med god bekvämlighet om än lite äldre standard. Bra parkeringsmöjligheter och en fin restaurang med god mat.

Det fanns ingen luftkonditionering och solen låg på rakt igenom fönstren med 30 grader utanför. Fanns inte heller något vädringsläge på fönstren utan man blev tvungen att öppna upp de stora franska balkongerna helt ut mot floden. Fick då svårt att sova pga. flodtrafiken och flygplatsen mitt emot. Det stod också att det skulle finnas en spa-avdelning men det var inga bad, bara en sauna och en wellnessavdelning med dusch och en motionscykel. Inte riktigt vad jag hade hoppats på.

Wunderschön an der Elbe gelegen, stilvolle Einrichtung, Ausstattung lässt keine Wünsche offen. Frühstück außergewöhnlich gut!

Badarmaturen defekt, undicht Zimmer komplett überhitzt Schlüsselkodierung klappte im dritten Anlauf Haus wurde nicht erklärt ( Spabereich?) Einladung zum Kaffee für Unannehmlichkeit ( Ansicht feiner Zug), wusste beim Auschecken keiner etwas davon, Kosten standen erstmal im Raum Trotz Hinweis, Geburtstag Mitreisende nicht berücksichtigt

Delightful room and service.

The location was beautiful, the breakfast excellent (although not quite up to the same standard as 12 ago).

I had to pay an unexpected surcharge of EUR 80 because the receptionists were not aware that I had reserved two rooms for a total of 4 people altough I could show that Booking had confirmed my reservation as indicated. I therefore expect a refund of the additional payment from the party responsible for the mishap.

Where can I begin, truly one of the best hotel experiences I've had. I love the history of the hotel along with the friendly staff who are willing to go well and beyond to help out and the smile that never leaves their faces truly made an everlasting impression. I will definitely be coming again if I ever visit Hamburg next time.
